Initial tests showed that 49ers offensive weapon Kyle Jusczyk hyperextended his knee and could miss “a couple of weeks”, per source. But he will undergo an MRI today to confirm if the initial tests are accurate.

De’Zhaun Stribling Sounds like close to a Grade 3 deltoid ligament sprain. Recovery from surgery could be 5-6 months so at this stage it makes sense to rehab first to see if it improves. Plenty of time to get surgery later & be ready by May/June 2027 worst case scenario. He’ll likely be put on IR and timetable is “a month”, but this could easily extend to ~2 months out.

#49ers rookie WR De'Zhaun Stribling, who left the opener early with an injury, is out at least a month with a deltoid sprain in his ankle, sources say. Stribling is still seeking opinions, and while surgery is not currently planned, it is possible. SF will be cautious.
