RT appreciated:
My lab is recruiting several Ph.D.s and Postdocs excited to build synthetic cells that undergo Darwinian evolution.
The backgrounds that we need for include biochemistry, synthetic biology, and systems chemistry.

Meet me there :-)
Please join BPPB on Fri Oct 11 for an exciting talk by Alfredo Sciortino @alf_fonsi ("Microtubules as Maxwell's demons: active transport-based phase-separation of a binary motor mixture"). For more information & to sign up for our email list, please visit sites.google.com/view/bppb-s…

We are keeping the registration open until Monday evening: you still have a last chance to apply to #intcha24 😎 !
Looks like a created a µm-sized interdimensional portal. In contrast to Dr Strange I didn't even need a sling ring.

The third (final?) chapter of my gliding trilogy is out: after "gliding on a membrane" and "on a sphere", I offer you our new paper on *gliding in a nematic*! nature.com/articles/s41563-0… Huge thanks to Lukas @BauschLab, Ivan&Timo @PhysOfLifeLMU & Tetsu @TU_Muenchen. Here's a🧵(1/15)

We show #PancreaticCancer cells self-organize into morphologically-faithful #organoids! Great work by Samuel, @arispapargyriou from @MaxReichert lab and @EdouardHannezo for a true collaboration between Biohysics and Medicine!

Are you interested in actin-binding proteins and lipid bilayers? @NkTimon, @BleicherPhilip and @BauschLab show how mobile anchoring of VASP allows it to function both as an elongator and bundler during #actin polymerization. Very thankful to be part of this!
My first paper is out now. 🎉 We reconstitute the formation of VASP condensates on bilayers, which nucleate, polymerize and bundle actin filaments. The bundles grow by enhanced polymerization aligned to filaments.
Thanks to @BleicherPhilip, @MarcoPayr and of course @Bauschlab.
