American tax dollars should never fund the pain and suffering of helpless animals.
Our Preventing Animal Abuse and Waste (PAAW) Act bans the NIH from conducting or funding research causing significant pain or distress to dogs and cats. The bill uses the Department of Agriculture’s own pain and distress scale and bans every study in its two most severe categories.
The American people did not sign up to bankroll animal cruelty.

175 House Democrats fire off a letter demanding the Trump administration halt its federal investigation into Rep. Ilhan Omar's immigration history, arguing the probe amounts to election interference with her re-election just one week away.
The letter, led by Rep. Pramila Jayapal, blasts DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin and Attorney General Todd Blanche, accusing them of weaponizing law enforcement against a sitting member of Congress. Federal agents executed a search warrant on Omar's D.C. home on Oct. 12, seizing phones and notebooks as part of a probe into whether Omar or her father lied about her birth year on immigration paperwork when her family fled Somalia in the late 1990s.
The core question: if Omar was 18 or older when her father obtained citizenship — not 17 as previously claimed — she would not have automatically qualified for citizenship through him and would have needed to file her own application. House Majority Whip Tom Emmer has called for Omar to be jailed and deported if the allegations are proven true.

This is a common question from people on the left who haven't looked at what's actually driving diesel prices. Don't fall for this.
Diesel is $6.35/gal (EIA). That's a refined product. The original post was about crude over $100/barrel. Trump1 had zero of those days.
Prices are up because Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries plus the Iran war disrupting Hormuz and Gulf refining have crushed global diesel supply. Putin himself has said the Ukraine invasion might not have happened if Trump had been in office.
Trump already got a Putin deal and sanctions relief for Russian diesel, but volumes are small relative to the shortfall. Not a Trump did it story. It's two wars hitting refining capacity.

Abdul El-Sayed told Bret Baier he voted for Kamala Harris in the last presidential primary.
That is impossible.
Michigan’s Democratic primary was February 27, 2024. The ballot was Biden, Uncommitted, Williamson, and Phillips. Harris was not on it.
El-Sayed himself publicly said he was voting Uncommitted as a protest against Biden.
Harris only entered the race after Biden dropped out in July. She never appeared on a primary ballot and received zero primary votes.
He either lied, or he doesn’t know who was running. Either way, it’s not a good look for a Senate candidate.
