A3 (Continued) Are you interested in more involvement in #NoVAedchat? Has running a multi-division opportunity like this appealed to you? Send us a message and let’s chat!

A3 We’ve been turning over more and more responsibility. #NoVAedchat cohosts write questions, host the conversation, many create an image and then continue the conversation for their chat. We’ve learned so much and invited in so many new perspectives this year and last!

Q3. What new ideas and practices you learned this year do you want to adapt, adopt, or abandon as we head into a new year? #NoVAedchat

A2: I think the fact that this is a topic of conversation and many districts and schools have plans for this summer to (hopefully) get at this. Calling it out is a way to get started on gaining ground. #NoVAedchat

Q2. What evidence have you seen that students are gaining ground on last year’s “lost year” in education? #NoVAedchat

A1 I’m very proud of the strength of our chat! This has been a hard year and this community has been incredible. #NoVAedchat was started in September of 2014 and has been happening each week during the school year since! An average of 4 chats per month x 9 months for 8 years!

Q1. When it comes to the 2021-2022 school year, what is one big win that either yourself, your students, or your school community as a whole are able to celebrate? #NoVAedchat

Welcome to #NoVAedchat! In honor of National Cheese Souffle Day, share with us the fanciest or most technically challenging thing that you can cook or bake. Tag a colleague you’d share it with.

Please join us for #NOVAedchat on Wednesday at 8pm E when @FCPS_Signorelli @MsDushokMath lead us in some GOUDA reflection!
