Venäjän uusi mobilisaatio on jo käynnissä.

Finland's President @alexstubb has provided important new details about his phone call with Vladimir Putin. Speaking to Finnish public broadcaster Yle, Stubb explicitly rejected the Financial Times' account that Putin had spent most of the 90-minute conversation delivering a lengthy history lecture. According to Stubb, Putin opened by presenting his familiar interpretation of events since 2014. But the conversation then developed into what Stubb described as a normal, substantive and concrete exchange, with information flowing in both directions. More importantly, Stubb explained the diplomatic logic behind the call. The initiative emerged from discussions with Ukrainian and American representatives following the Oslo meeting on 20 October. Both Kyiv and Washington were consulted and gave their green light. The timing was deliberate: Finland and Norway wanted to speak to Putin before the planned US–Ukraine–Russia negotiations in Abu Dhabi. And Stubb has now clarified the broader objective: to create conditions for a possible face-to-face meeting between Zelenskyy and Putin. The immediate task is to make progress in Abu Dhabi. A meeting between the two presidents would be a subsequent step, provided the negotiations produce sufficient grounds for one. Stubb also made clear that Finland is not seeking a seat at the negotiating table. He acknowledged the difficulties Europeans have faced in agreeing on a single representative. To me, this puts the initiative in a clearer perspective. The call was not intended as a breakthrough in itself. It was one step in a diplomatic sequence designed to keep the negotiations moving and ultimately bring the two presidents together. Whether Putin is genuinely prepared to negotiate remains an entirely different question. His fundamental objectives have not changed, and there is every reason to remain sceptical. The real test comes next: what happens in Abu Dhabi, and whether Moscow is prepared to move beyond repeating its existing demands. yle.fi/a/74-20254360

"Rockets are flying, so it’s dangerous outside. That means we stay in the basement." Nine-year-old Illia said these words to his mother just days before his life was cut short on the doorstep of his own home. Illia Chekh, from Chernihiv, loved mathematics, gymnastics, and hip-hop. He dreamed of performing in a dance competition and winning a trophy. He was the only, long-awaited son of 28-year-old driver Mykhailo and 26-year-old shop assistant Tetiana. He was inquisitive and gentle, with a smile just like his mother’s. At school, everyone was his friend. In dance class, he was able to do the splits from his very first lesson; his instructor recalls his attitude: "I see the goal—I see no obstacles." February 24th shattered everything. The family spent the beginning of spring in a basement. Illia never complained—he played with other children and bore the conditions with patience. He would tell his mother: "Rockets are flying, so it’s dangerous outside. That means we stay in the basement." On March 19, 2022, they went home to pick up some belongings, intending to return to their shelter. They lingered outside for just a few minutes. It was completely quiet—until, suddenly, a Russian attack began. A shell struck without warning. The blast threw the family—along with several others nearby—in different directions. Everyone was wounded: his father, his mother, and Illia. The boy suffered shattered pelvic bones and deep wounds. Doctors fought to save his life for a full day, but it was in vain. His mother was severely wounded and only learned of her son’s death two weeks later—by which time he had already been buried. She was finally able to visit his grave in the summer, once she was discharged from the hospital. She still keeps his belongings in Chernihiv and at his grandmother’s house in the village. She says it is difficult to have them nearby, as they constantly make her want to cry. Four years have passed—the pain has not subsided; instead, it only continues to grow. Illiusha. He was nine years old. He loved mathematics and hip-hop. And he dreamed of a trophy—one he will now never receive.

Poland. Information from the police.
2. 3. Mając na względzie konieczność realizacji ustawowych zadań Policji, w szczególności prawny obowiązek zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa i porządku publicznego, informacja została przekazana do Komendy Stołecznej Policji z poleceniem podjęcia stosownych działań. 4.
