Are you a landlord? 🏠
From 15 December, if you’re a landlord of an assured or regulated tenancy in England, you must register yourself and each of your properties through the new service on GOV.UK by the deadline for your region. Letting agents can’t register on your behalf.
You’ll need to give details of your properties, like:
• the address 🔑
• the number of tenants and bedrooms 🛏️
• the amount of rent you're receiving for a property 💷
• gas and electricity safety certificates ⚡
You may be asked to provide energy performance certificates (EPCs) if your details can't be found on the EPC register.

Almost 9 million people across the UK are at risk of needing a food bank in the next year.
One in five people have already run out of food and couldn't afford to buy more in the past year. And with further energy price rises on the horizon, millions face continued pressure.
The consequences go far beyond hunger. People are losing sleep, struggling with their health and relationships, and finding it harder to work.
But this doesn't have to be our future. Ahead of the Budget, we need urgent action to ensure everyone can afford the essentials.
