FUCKKK EA
Bloomberg: Main reason behind BioWare's shutdown was that EA chose to invest in Star Wars: Battlefront 3 over the next Mass Effect
Development on Battlefront 3 hasn't started yet

Replaying Alan Wake and I like that you can watch me have a nervous breakdown over the shoebox of Thomas Zane books.
There has to be a way to save this… there has to be… god.
Romain Toutain revealed more about Mass Effect 5/Universe (this one really stings):
✨"The Shepard" was customizable and could do same moves in real combat as trailer
✨Everything in game was "stateful"
✨All choices from 1-3 taken into account
✨Called Universe so you could plug your saves together to create parallel universes (simplified explanation) but you could almost generate timelines similar to Zero Time
✨You could make decisions that might contradict things you've already done and so it would create plot "points" in the timeline
✨Missions didn't fail because you killed someone, paths would remain open (it worked well)
✨Absolute autonomy was the cornerstone of the game
✨No two players would experience the same thing, would have "experienced the same story but differently"
✨"EA never sells anything. they just shut things down and sit on their licenses"
✨Barman was a new race
✨Lore was incredible around new mass relays
✨"Billy" the hand thing might have generated tentacles
✨Was an idea for sharing your saves
✨He says it was fucking amazing
it was an absolute banger and we would have loved it. The people at BioWare were brilliant
FUCK

Play Alan Wake 2. Then play it again. Then talk to me about Thomas Zane.
Alan Wake 2 is the perfect horror game to play this October.
Two heroes. Two worlds. A darkness coming for them both.
Available on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC via the Epic Games Store.

Fun fact this Crimson Peak scene had to be deleted bc the little exhale Tom Hiddleston does before they kiss caused test audiences to immediately leave the theater, relocate to England, purchase a haunted house filled with clay, and wait for a prospective baronet husband.
