Our bus stops are there for a reason, but drivers stop wherever they like and commuters board or alight anywhere. The result? Traffic, danger and total disorder. LASTMA and FRSC must do more than issue fines and target private cars. Educate drivers and commuters, enforce proper busstop use, and keep roads moving. And what’s the essence of NURTW sef? Just collect money from members and litter the roads? They can’t give their members proper orientation?

Nigerians will source for electricity by themselves (Generators and solar), source water by themselves (Well and Boreholes) , source hospital bill by themselves(Private hospitals), buy unsubsidized petrol and food products by themselves and then the government will ask them to come and pay tax.
What are we paying tax for?

Nigerians are increasingly paying privately for things that government is supposed to help provide through public services, yet the government still expects them to pay taxes.

The real question is: if citizens have to provide almost every basic necessity for themselves, what exactly are their taxes funding? 🤔💔

One of the factor affecting Africa is that they see themselves like the Europeans and which they are not the same. Those people are highly educated and more advanced and we can’t just copy everything they do, instead look for what works for us abide to it. The ones we can do let’s do it well for the betterment of our country.
