After some tests, we saw the worst-case scenario: two massive herniated discs pressing on the nerves that run through her neck, causing problems in all four joints. We don’t have the money, and my mom, upon seeing the cost of the surgery, is starting to lose hope… So that’s why I’m holding this raffle—so my mom can once again be the athletic, active woman I saw slowly wither away.
