Being taught by a professor isn't learning because you didn't figure it out yourself. Using an instrument that someone else made doesn't count because you didn't hand craft it yourself. Reading a book that someone else wrote doesn't count because you didn't write the book.

The silent piano that was owned by Liszt. Part of his "on tour" kit, that allowed practice any place any time. Imagine the discipline involved in practicing on a silent keyboard. In some ways I could quite believe this took more concentration than playing the actual acoustic keys

These two blue spruce trees in our backyard actually had names: Ernie and Bert. I planted them 15 yrs ago.
Sadly this morning Bert was crushed by two trees that fell from the forest.
Well, his top half was snapped right off. 😕 Is there any chance he can grow a new top?
I really love the look, sound and ease of use that Audius has. If only it had the messaging, comments, etc. like soundcloud.
