Really, really excited to finally see the Technoblade Never Dies documentary announced. It's been a while coming (having worked on this with both Hypixel & Riot as an EP), and I'm especially happy for Steven Lake. He's an incredibly thoughtful and conscientious person, and I genuinely can't think of someone who deserves more trust to tell the story. And a huge amount of gratitude to @Simon_Hypixel and everyone at Hypixel for getting involved and helping make this possible. If Technoblade meant something to you, you can visit TechnobladeNeverDies.com and share your fanart, stories, animations, or memories with the team.

I'm honored to share that the official documentary Technoblade Never Dies is now in production! You can submit testimonials, fan art, animations, and so on here: technobladeneverdies.com/ When I got the opportunity to be part of this documentary, I had one special request: involve the Technoblade community! It's been a pleasure working with everyone involved to get this into production. After my first meeting with the director, Steven Lake, I knew he was the right person. He truly understands what Technoblade meant to all of us. Please check out the video on the website to learn more about his vision! For Hypixel and me personally, it was important to help make this documentary happen as a thank you to Technoblade and his family, a thank you for all the great memories and opportunities he gave us. I don't think I'd be where I am today without him. Even before the fame, he helped shape Hypixel behind the scenes and was such a good person to be around. It's also been a pleasure to work with one of Technoblade's artists, @jester_u, on the artwork for the website such a wonderful person! Please note that all of Hypixel's profits from this doc will be going to charity. My honest goal is for my two young kids to see this documentary, learn who Technoblade was to all of us, and get inspired. Again, thank you, Alex, for all the great memories. We miss you dearly. Technoblade never dies.

We've finally done it. We figured out a way to go back to the good ol' days. But can @RiotPabro get @RiotMeddler on board? Tune in to MSI Finals on July 11 at 11pm PDT to find out.

It’s been a year since Hytale was cancelled, saved and then beta access released in January. I’m incredibly happy for the team and the community. What they’ve achieved after all that is something special given everything and I only wish for their success. As for me, I’ve been pretty quiet. After 10 years at Hypixel, I needed a break. I’ve spent the last while doing some consultancy and generally figuring out what I want the next chapter of my life and career to look like. That next chapter is starting soon. I'll be doing a couple of smaller projects with @riotgames. That you'll hopefully hear about (and won't take as long!) One thing I should probably say: I won’t really be posting about Hypixel or Hytale anymore. I know that’s why many of you followed me in the first place but... If you’d like to stick around though, that'd be dope. See you on the Rift.

Congratulations @Hypixel on releasing @Hytale into early access. I've been taking a break to focus on a lot of IRL stuff but have come out of hibernation to see all the good vibes and success of many of my former friends / colleagues. The engine has so much potential! <3

Extremely grateful that players will get to play Hytale - and that it's in the hands of Simon and Philippe - the original founders of Hypixel and the Minecraft server. Gratitude to Riot as well for finding a way to make this happen for the community. It's unconventional and it worked. Most importantly, Simon has hired much of the original and former team and I know firsthand how amazing and talented those people are - as well as how much they care about Hytale and the players. They care so much… that even when the game had no future. They banded together and crafted a path forward The original engine was a blast to work on and it has some truly exciting stuff, and while I know the journey ahead will be hard. I believe in them. I wish them the best of luck and best wishes to all the Hytale & Hypixel community. Noxy signing out.

Huge thanks to Riot for working with me to make this happen. They wanted what’s best for players, and that’s for us to eventually play the game. This game has always been close to my heart, and I’m excited to bring it back home. Real talk: Hytale isn’t some polished AAA release waiting in the wings. It’s messy. It’s janky. And there’s a lot of work to be done. My plan? Get it out to you as soon as possible. No more waiting. You’ll get to play it, rough edges and all. It won’t be perfect on day one. My hope is that together, we’ll shape it into something truly special. Thanks for believing in Hytale. Time to get to work. Follow @Hytale for updates.

(Non Hypixel / Hytale related ramble below) Long ago, I used to do event work. Stage content & organising meet and greets for youtubers among other things. It's also how I met the Hypixel team originally - a story for another day. This was for an event like PAX / Dreamhack in the UK (called Insomnia festival) This was 10+ years ago , when the idea of a 'youtuber' being a something that existed as a physical thing was nascent. These were some of the very first events that featured youtubers as special guests in their own right. We weren't ready for the influx of people caused by having "Youtubers" feature as guests - spectator footfall at the event went from a few hundred a weekend to thousands. About everything bad thing happened - parents spat at volunteers because we had to cut the queues. Drinks were thrown, lawsuits threatened by parents because their kids couldn't meet their favourite youtuber privately - pretty horrible stuff. Only time in my life I've ever had a panic attack was the come down after one time someone announced on the loudspeakers "SPECIAL GUEST X will do an extra 90 minutes of signing" causing an unintended but dangerous stampede of people rushing through the convention centre to get to the signing area(thankfully no one hurt). Youtuber's were only given room and board, no appearance fees back then, no signing fees - it was simply for the love of their fans and the chance to spend time with other youtubers. Times changed - we got better - dealt with those issues, and the world normalized around this idea of a 'Youtuber' being more or less equivalent to a traditional celebrity. I've watched youtubers come and go - their profession is sadly a fickle one... generational. I sort of say all this because @dantdm has been the focal point of a conversation on a wider topic lately, and I find myself unable to say nothing - because I had an experience of working with him as someone who "managed his time" for 10+ events. He was easily the most popular regular appearance throughout that part in my career. As for those on other side of the matter I've generally had positive albeit light interactions - absolutely nothing I say here should be inferred as a knock of them and their entrepreneurial hearts. @dantdm is a very special human being. He was without a shadow of a doubt my favourite 'youtuber' to ever work in those often difficult times. Dan had this amazing ability to not only be there for his fans, but also be there for all the people that were working to make the event work. Despite the very real fact that he was the biggest "problem" in terms of people wanting to meet him, popularity, etc etc. I would walk into the green rooms, dreading to do the "Walk" - where we had to get guests from the green room past thousands of fans - but somehow Dan was always at the signing area - having snuck in, ready to go, ready to meet. He never explained how exactly he did it (I think he had a mask and a change of clothes), but I can't tell you how much that meant to us. He signed diligently, spent time with every fan and you could just tell that it meant so much to him. You could see the body energy drain by the end of it , but the spirit rose. And throughout all of it - he stayed humble and yet somehow still relevant. Still pumping out videos in the 500k+1m viewcount range over a decade later... that's not something you can say about many youtubers. I say all of this because I think it's a side of him that people might not know... I believe there's another universe where Dan fell into all the things that he 'could' have done - or fallen into the same mistakes that I've seen others sadly make that resulted in their career being short; but I like this one very much. Imho I think this is the best @dantdm in the multiverse.

Just made a $50,000 donation to @CureSarcoma in memory of our dear friend Technoblade. We are now up to $74,250 this year in donations to the cause. Deal done, @tommyinnit. I bet 50k he could reach 15 million subs a few years ago, and he did today! He also got a pink INNIT rank on Hypixel, the same colour as Technoblade :)
