A couple of weeks ago, I warned you that once the midterms were over, I was going to unleash hell. I wasn't joking. And my pinned post this morning was just the beginning. Let me make something crystal clear. I DID NOT WANT DEMOCRATS TO WIN. But deep down, I knew they would. You know why? Because while some of you were living in an X echo chamber, I was paying attention to REAL LIFE. I listened to my neighbors. I listened to my coworkers. I listened to the customers who walk into my bank every single day. I talked to people about their bills, their savings, their mortgages, and how much harder it's become just to survive. I watched people walk through those doors carrying jars of loose change, hoping to turn them into enough cash to get by. THAT is the America I was paying attention to. Not the fantasyland you've been fed on this platform for the last 11 months. Not the massive accounts telling you Trump has historic support. Not the influencers screaming that we're winning, winning, winning while ordinary Americans are struggling to keep their heads above water. And here's the part that's really going to piss some of you off. You weren't looking for the truth. You were looking for reassurance. Every day I hear people on this platform say, "I'm here for the truth!" No. You're here for YOUR truth. You're here to have someone with 500,000 followers tell you exactly what you want to hear. To convince you that everything is fine. To make that uncomfortable feeling in your stomach go away. Because somewhere deep down, you knew something wasn't right. You just didn't want to admit it. And when people like me tried to warn you? You attacked us. You called us Democrats. You called us traitors. You accused us of turning against Trump. All because we refused to pretend everything was wonderful. Well, here we are. And now I see people scrambling for excuses. Cheating. Illegal voters. Rigged elections. John Thune John Thune John Thune Kiss my ass. Kiss my ass. Kiss my ass. Anything to avoid confronting the possibility that Republicans lost because they FAILED. The GOP failed. Congressional Republicans failed. The Senate failed. And yes, the man sitting in the White House failed. They failed the very Americans who trusted them to make their lives better. I'm furious because I wanted Republicans to GIVE AMERICANS A REASON TO VOTE FOR THEM. Listen... You can love your country, support a president, vote Republican your entire life, and STILL hold your own side accountable. That's not betrayal. That's having a backbone. And if you spent the last year attacking people who tried to warn you, maybe it's time to stop listening to the accounts telling you what you want to hear. Because the people carrying jars of change into my bank don't give a damn how many likes your favorite MAGA influencer gets. They want to know when their lives are going to get better. And until Republicans can answer that question, they have absolutely no business acting surprised when they lose.
