We've now been told that staff will have 3 days to declare an opt out.
This is basic discrimination against those who are absent due to a disability particularly those with work-related stress which would be exacerbated by this action, and those on sick and parental leave.
We have been informed that @GoldsmithsUoL have decided to move to an extremely punitive “opt-out” system of deducting pay for strike days: from 9 Feb, ALL staff will have to submit a form indicating that they are NOT on strike or face deductions. This is completely unacceptable.
