Inclusivity is a must within the arts, it's a blessing and privilege that we all see the world differently. Theatre, Film and TV should explore all walks of life and all our different lived experiences, but ultimately remind us all how similar we are. #OneWorldOneCommunity

Christopher Nolan says one problem with modern amateur criticism for films is people recognizing a narrative trope & seeing that as a negative. “To be able to identify the mechanism doesn’t invalidate the mechanism.” (Source: @ZhugeYY)

Sam Levinson reveals Maddy from ‘Euphoria’ was intended to be blonde, with HBO execs initially doubting Alexia Demie for the role: “I remember pulling her aside and giving her some tips. I think she was wearing something red, and I knew that the execs would immediately think, ‘Oh, she’s too Latin.’ So I told her, ‘Don’t wear anything red,’ to soften up what I knew would be their initial perception.”

“You, Me & Tuscany” producer Will Packer is responding to a viral X conversation sparked by filmmaker Nina Lee (@NinaSerafina) about what the film’s box office could signal for the future of original, Black-led rom-coms: “It matters for the Nina Lee’s of the world and for audiences that want to see films like this get made,” Packer tells Variety. “Hollywood watches and then they react. Hollywood will react to the audiences more so than audiences realize; they have the power to dictate what’s made in Hollywood. You vote with your dollars.” Universal’s “You, Me & Tuscany,” one of the few Black-led rom-coms from a major studio to hit theaters in recent years, releases this weekend. “If the dollars make sense, then you’ll see more of it and Hollywood will change and adjust,” Packer explains. “So, I am trying to do my part to be successful in a language that Hollywood understands — which is not really the language of social justice, it’s really the language of economics.” Read the full story: variety.com/2026/film/news/y…
