I think you've shown a lot of grace by changing your handle as part of the bet you made.
I think your point was made, and I think it's time to close the book on that and go back to you old handle.

The #Cowboys are signing Tyler Goodson from the Atlanta Falcons practice squad, per @AaronWilson_NFL.
A corresponding move hasn’t been announced yet—just watching one run from Goodson, his style reminds me of Malik Davis. Maybe Dallas feels he’ll be a better fit.

Let's check in with Melissa Stark and get an update:
"Giants running back Cam Skattebo is listed as questionable to return"
More than half of last year’s #Cowboys defenders are out of a job, per @NickHarrisFWST
Here's the detail of last year's Week 1 roster. Red cells show players that do not have a job right now.
It's the Cardinals. A franchise with the organizational IQ of a moldy piece of bread.
Of course they'll bring him back too early.
Was 72 preseason yards worth it?
Jeremiyah Love got 14 touches against the Raiders. He finished with 72 yards and a high ankle sprain.
I found 74 confirmed incidents of NFL running backs suffering high ankle sprains over the past 20 seasons, so I looked at what happened next.
The median return time was 29 days.
During the first three games back:
• EPA per carry dropped by 0.08
• Rushing success rate fell from 42.0% to 37.8%
• The percentage of runs gaining at least 10 yards fell from 12.0% to 9.7%
There is also the risk of the workload itself. Using the general NFL running back injury rate, 14 touches works out to about a 2.7% chance of an injury, or roughly 1 in 37. The chance of an injury associated with missed time is about 1.6%, or roughly 1 in 62.
Those rates are not specific to the preseason, but they put the decision in perspective.
The Cardinals got 72 yards in a game that did not count. Now they may lose weeks of availability and could still get diminished production when Love returns.
That is the real cost of those 14 touches.
If the players in Nick's post below (outlined in red on the attached depth chart) are not playing tomorrow, then Caleb Downs, Shavon Revel, and all running backs will suit up against the Seahawks.
The enshittification at ESPN continues. The times where I had ESPN on 24/7 are long gone, as its usefulness gradually declined.
Then they focused on clicks and eyeballs with little regard for quality content, now they're simply trying to extract as much value as is left.
One of the few publications that still understands that "breakout" is the noun/adjective, and "break out" is the verb.
Same thing with countdown: "countdown" is the noun, "count down" is the verb.
It’s “breakout predictions” season. Here’s my list of assistant coaches who could break out this NFL season, based on conversations with team and league sources, my own film study and observations and a little input from some of our writers: nytimes.com/athletic/7459464…
Not enough testosterone.
