Love this! For over a decade, I’ve been infatuated with miRNAs and lncRNAs as disease targets, revealing a whole new frontier of human therapeutics. It’s complex space, but nothing this big is ever that easy!
𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭: A paper in @scisignal this month by researchers at the University of Toronto illustrated progress being made in turning long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) into medicines. Via @chloeckirk Link to research: science.org/doi/10.1126/scis…

I made this short idle animation of a lipid nanoparticle encapsulating mRNA! I recently got into using Blender (with lots of help from @bradyajohnston @CgFigures for tutorials and plugins) and its been fun. #molecularnodes is not just for proteins 😁. #b3d #sciart
