Let me tell you a little story about @beijingdou. Many years ago, I was going through a difficult time in my life. I was unsure of myself, unsure of my direction, and honestly, unsure of what came next. During that time, Josh reached out to me. We ended up talking on the phone for about an hour. I don’t know if he realized it then, but that conversation meant the world to me. As we talked, I felt like I had found a mentor. Someone who didn’t necessarily have all the answers, but had the patience, wisdom, and understanding to help me find some of my own. By the time we hung up, I felt like I could take on the world again. I’ve never forgotten that conversation. It was one of those pivotal moments in my life’s journey that stays with you forever. And during ApeFest, I heard countless stories from others about how Josh had touched their lives in equally meaningful ways. That’s the beautiful thing about this Club. Sometimes the greatest impact we have on each other happens in moments we don’t even realize are important. A simple conversation. An hour of someone’s time. A little encouragement when someone needs it most. Those moments can change lives. All this to say, love you, bro. Thank you for being you. And thank you for being there when I needed it. I’ll never forget it. Also I love this picture by @Web_713.
