World (pre-pub) for Honor Flight yesterday! At @OSchoolsPR's Fulton Avenue School, Megan Lewitin's third graders. She asked when Twenty-One Steps came out if I'd talk to her kids. I said yes. I've done it for four years now. So, perfect place for in person. Pub date 3/3. @HonorFlightNet @Candlewick @tavaresbooks

7th grade kicked off the Health Triangle unit! Students created characters whose “energy levels” represent each side of the triangle — physical, social, and mental/emotional health. A fun and meaningful way to help them see how all three areas work together for overall wellness.

If you believe in people, believe in them publicly.A journalist called me about our principal last week, and I couldn’t wait to brag. She’s building real community, embracing tech, and proving middle school can be about values, not just skills. Big congrats to her!
