Today marks the 4th Anniversary of #grenfelltower fire. We remember all those who died, those who were injured and those who got out safely but still carry the emotional trauma from that night. We should also pay tribute too, to the emergency services who responded so bravely 🙏🏿

George Floyd changed the world. Up until a year ago, the words “systemic racism,” and the reality they represent were toxic to many who had never experienced it. However, the systemic racism that used to be so hard to see, or to name, is now[more] visible every day..
We are proud to be working with Clifford Chance (CC), providing our initiative with financial support & pro bono advice as we incorporate into a charity from company limited by guarantee status.
We have also been supported pro bono by Bank of America through CC's client network.
Trustees of the charity will be involved in raising funds and grants, before then deciding how the funds are used and reporting back to grantees.
OCAAT trustees will also match members of the public who need free legal advice with practitioners who are providing pro bono work.
We will keep you update about further developments in due course. If you would like to support, please follow @ocaatfund on social media and donate to the gofundme page below:

We are One Case At A Time @OcaatFund
An independent, apolitical, non-profit organisation. Our mission is to facilitate access to justice, funding and legal representation for disenfranchised minorities, with a focus on Black people (forming part of the Black African diaspora).
We are currently working on some quantitative and qualitative research with @BankofAmerica into the experiences of individual groups in the context of this subject! We can’t wait to share the progress we make and we look forward to sharing it with you all.
