Forever grateful.
🎞️ Introducing #ConnectingTheDisconnected
When legacy mobile networks failed, hope was extinguished.
With World Mobile's DePIN connectivity, hope was restored.
In the wake of Hurricane Helene’s devastation, communities in North Carolina were left isolated, their communication lifelines severed. When legacy telecoms providers couldn’t deliver, World Mobile stepped in with DePIN technology to restore vital connectivity and hope.
‘Connecting The Disconnected’ tells the powerful story of how our decentralised AirNode technology, paired with @Starlink backhaul, reconnected those left in the dark.
This isn’t just about technology; it’s about resilience, innovation, and enabling communities to reclaim power and take control of their future.
👥 Together, we’re unstoppable.

Welcome to the sharing economy, @elonmusk🤝
@Starlink is the best network ever put in orbit. Since 2021 it has been the backhaul for the largest sharing economy ground network in the world. Ours.
170,000+ community owned AirNodes across Africa, Asia and the US. The people who host them get paid for connecting their neighbours. The people who connect get an opportunity only half the world has today. Communities living in Swiss cheese coverage are whole again.
Below: North Carolina after Hurricane Helene. @SpaceX's Mike Coryell led the Starlink and Powerwall deployment. We worked alongside his team to connect the disconnected and made the rollout more efficient.
We bet on this model in 2018. We were right.
Connectivity is a human right.

Planned WMTX minting on Base is about to begin as part of the recovery process and preparation for centralized exchange trading to resume.
You may start to see new minting transactions onchain.
These are expected and authorized.

WMTX Security Update ⚠️
Our response to the SingularityNET bridge exploit remains active.
Trading on centralized exchanges remains halted. While we cannot control activity on decentralized exchanges, our guidance is clear: do not trade or interact with WMTX at this time.
We are continuing containment work, pre exploit snapshot reconciliation, and coordination with exchanges and security partners.
Please use this as the primary source for detailed incident updates and holder guidance.
We will continue to publish major developments here on X as they are confirmed.

Still waiting on more information, so I'm moving the Spaces to midday tomorrow.
Thank you for your patience and your support today.
We will prevail.
We got hit today, via a security incident on the @SingularityNET bridge. Minting is stopped and the team has been on it since the first hour with exchanges, market makers and law enforcement. I’ll be going live on Spaces later today when I know more.
In the meantime, have no doubts, have no fear, we will recover and become even stronger.
Together, we’re unstoppable.

Security Notice ⚠️
We have identified an exploit of the @SingularityNET bridge that has resulted in the unauthorised minting of $WMTx on Ethereum. This had led to recent price action across all exchanges that $WMTx is listed on.
Our team is actively responding:
• We are in contact with exchanges and relevant third parties to freeze affected deposits.
• We are working with our security partners to revoke all minting authorities.
• We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and will share verified updates as they are confirmed.
Please be aware that incidents of this nature are frequently targeted by bad actors. Do not engage with unsolicited DMs, "support" accounts, recovery services, claim portals, or token migration links.
This account, @wmchain, is the only official source for updates on this matter.
We appreciate your patience and will report back as soon as we have more to share.
Feeding the @hoskilien community is one of my favorite parts of this.
Some struggle to keep a project moving. For me, this is what keeps the fire going.
Seeing the numbers climb and the community benefiting from it never gets old.
Huge shout out to @WorldMobileTeam for this!
