Thank you @Comic_Con and everyone who came to my panel! Grateful to share the stage with @jimjcummings, @johnram27, Chris Sanders & our amazing moderator @gmiereanu. Your passion for animation inspires me—keep drawing & dreaming! ✏️🎬✨ #ComicCon2025 #AndreasDeja #DejaDraws

The Black Cauldron was my first Disney assignment. I sketched characters while still in Germany—some made it into early concept art. We were young & learning, but the ambition was real. 40 years later, I still have fond memories abou my start at Disney. #BlackCauldron #Animation

With Lilo & Stitch in the spotlight again, I couldn’t resist sketching Lilo. The moment I did—her warmth and spirit came rushing back. These characters never really leave you. 🌺💙 #LiloAndStitch #OhanaMeansFamily #DisneyAnimation #2DAnimation #Lilo

When Don Hahn asked me to illustrate African Cats, it felt like my field sketches from post-Lion King Africa had come to life. The cheetah, the lion, the elegance—it still moves me. 🐾 #AfricanCats #DisneyNature #AnimationArt #TrueLifeAdventures

Before The Emperor’s New Groove, I explored YZMA as a sultry diva inspired by Eartha Kitt—wildly different from what we saw in the final film. That’s the magic of traditional animation! 💜 #Yzma #AndreasDeja #DisneyAnimation #TheEmperorsNewGroove

Imagine my surprise when these early King Triton sketches resurfaced from deep in my archive! He’s furious with Ariel here—emotion I partly drew from memories of my own father, especially when my sister stayed out past curfew. #TheLittleMermaid #DisneyAnimation

Looking forward to participating in the panel for The Lion Kings 30th Anniversary. Hope to see you there - October 26 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm in Ballroom F.
