This is 17 year old Aidan McCabe who sadly & suddenly passed away a few days ago. His friends in S6 at Our Lady’s High School in Cumbernauld would like to be at the game on Wednesday for his applause on the 17th minute 😔 If you are not using your ticket would you be kind enough to give it to one of his friends? 🙏 Please retweet as we need a few 🍀 Thank you 💚

An unfortunate shirt colour clash between the referee and East Fife, probably made worse by the sunlight, saw an East Fife player mistakenly pass the ball towards the ref.
The mistake led to a goal for Alloa Athletic's 16-year-old Kyle Glasgow.

Scottish Communities Cup | Third Round
Today’s ties are listed below, with 2.30pm kick-offs apart from Armadale v Stonehaven and Yoker Athletic v Hall Russell, which kick off at 7.45pm.
Best of luck to all clubs, and safe travels to everyone heading to a match. – at Bargeddie, Scotland
A lot has been said about this result but nothing will change pyramid wise. As soon as there's a winner without a bronze license in tier 5, we all know the SFA/SPFL will use it as an excuse to shut the whole thing down. Already a break clause in place as far as I'm aware. 👀

East Kilbride’s Cami Elliott has scored two hat-tricks in three league appearances.
He is one of just 18 players to achieve this across Scotland’s top four tiers, going back to the top flight since 1990 and the next three tiers since 2000.
League One's top marksman 🏹
@officialEKFC's Cami Elliot is turning heads in the third tier, with two hat-tricks in his last three league games.

Lewis Morrison has suffered a serious ACL injury which will keep him out of football for an extended period and could also leave him unable to work for around six months.
This is much bigger than football for Lewis and his young family.
I understand the push back on the Communities Cup from the leagues and I'm fully aware it's the clubs choice to play in the competition but having to play two fixtures on the same day is ridiculous. Need for more compromise before we seriously jeopardise players safety.
🔄 | DALE AT THE DOUBLE
This is NOT a drill.
Get the date in your diary. It’s a Dale Double on Saturday 17th October.
We will firstly welcome @DBFC1938 for our @EastScotlandFA encounter in the afternoon.
We will then have a some recovery time in between before we then take on current North of Scotland Premier League champions, @StonehavenFC in the @scottishjuniors Cup in the evening.
We hope you can be there for a full day of Dale action and give the lads the support they need in what will be a historic day.
💙
