This is what 10 tonnes of mussels about to go into purification tanks looks like. This is a quarter of what we can harvest on a working day and the reason why we can't just 'pop up' a few purification tanks to sustain our business.

A great feature on the shellfish export issues on the @bbcfoodprog with @dansaladinouk on Saturday morning. Catch it again at 3.30pm today on @bbcradio4. #offshoreshellfish #mussels #brexitissues #politics #brexitchaos #shellfish

We are devastated. 9 of our headlines have been destroyed by another boat. Months of hard work and dedication to growing something sustainable and good have just gone! The picture shows a small fraction of the tangled mess we are left with on just one of the lines. #pleaseshare

Have you seen this buoy?? One of our special marker buoys has gone missing over the last few days. It is around 2.5 metres tall. Missing from our farm in Lyme Bay, South Devon. If you see it floating around or washed up on the beach please call 07736045150 #missing #sea #devon

It's not really harvesting weather today with #stormciara in full force, but here is a handful of mussels picked off one of the lines last week. A great size and colour and clean, shiny shells. #offshoreshellfish #mussels #shellfish #foodie #storm
