The reason I disagree is that the league decided they did not want fighting anymore. So they are supposed to protect players in vulnerable positions. They did not do that and then punished the team when they responded. You can’t have it both ways.

I'm in the minority here but McDavid's speed cutting to the blue paint and getting bumped into the goal post was not an attempt to injure. I feel like Helleson is just doing his job taking a lane away. Podz response was correct. The game misconduct was correct. Get ready for Vancouver.
