Utterly tragic and shocking. Scott was a really good man, a relentlessly positive and helpful person. He was also a brilliant, and history-making, rugby player. This is so sad

I don’t just see silver & gems - I see my daughter. Her family initials MDMC on her wristband, her spirit forever in our hearts 🏴☘️
My very first time watching Scotland was Scott Hastings’ debut and he was very much an integral factor in my love of rugby. There were so many massive moments but when I think of him, the thing which stands out most is his grin - he played and lived with a smile on his face.

Seems like a fair question @URCOfficial ?

The URC has never before suspended a player for an accumulation of yellow cards in a season.
Players who received more yellow cards than Hastings this season have not been suspended.
@URCOfficial really need to to do a better job of explaining this.
This is heartbreaking. Rugby needs to do more.
Two best friends, two suicides. How did rugby let this happen. I’ve talked openly and candidly about rugby, Repetitive head injuries, and it’s uncomfortable link with suicide for nearly 10 years. When will rugby take this seriously, how many more 💔🧠🏉😢

Amazing opportunity for Mike Blair, one of the sharpest rugby minds to come out of Scotland in the past 20 years.
It does not reflect especially well on the Edinburgh hierarchy that a man deemed good enough to run the ABs attack wasn't given the right support to run his club.
What an amazing player he’s been for Glasgow, just wonderful to see this tonight. And he’s clearly much loved by his team mates. All the best in your coaching career Mr Weir!

Rugby Union refs: If Cammy Scott had simply let the kick clock run down with the clock in the red, would it have been game over or would it have been a penalty to Benetton?

I’d like to congratulate @RyderCupEurope on their victory. Your team play the first few days was sensational.
More importantly, I’d like to apologize for the rude and mean-spirited behavior from our American crowd at Bethpage.
As a former player, Captain and as an American, I am ashamed of what happened. #RyderCup
