2 years ago today I published my first book of short stories. I’m still very proud of this little book. Read an excerpt below:

Contested legacy? In 100 years, JK Rowling will be remembered as the author of one of the most successful franchises in entertainment history. That’s her only legacy 👏👏👏
#HarryPotter author J.K. Rowling is the subject of an upcoming BBC docuseries.
It will trace her “dramatic rise, cultural influence and contested legacy, using her life as a lens through which to explore three decades of profound social, political and technological change.” variety.com/2026/tv/global/j…

Andrew Tate: "Reading books is for losers...Books are a total waste of time."
Kanye West: "I am not a fan of books...I am a proud non-reader of books."
Clavicular: "I don't really read books...you could just get the information through summaries and articles."
Alix Earle: “I’ve never read a book. Like, maybe Dr. Seuss."
Don't be like these people.
Pick up a book today.
I'm editing a short 'western-style' fiction story that I'm thinking of trying to get published in a magazine/journal - what publications do you think would be suitable? Have you submitted to any that you would recommend? #writers

AI cracks me up because when it misinterprets a prompt, it makes you question how 'intelligent' it really is, and then you have to rewrite the prompt as if speaking with a 3-year-old...🤣

Writing is so much more than a hobby. Being an author is so much more than a profession. There is nothing like creating a story in your head and convincing others to enjoy it. It is hard work. It takes time and patience. These days it requires skills beyond putting ink to paper.
On my channel, I try to highlight the person behind the stories. The story of the person whos name is printed at the bottom of your favorite book.
If this is something that you want to be part of, please subscribe to my channel. If you wrote a book, don't hesitate to contact me about being featured. I love to help and inspire others ❤️
Thank you for supporting me! I love and appreciate each and every one of you 🫶❤️📚✨️

Hello Everyone!! My name is Bailey while many of you know me as a writer and YouTube host to help Indie Authors, many of you don't know that I am creating an app to help Indie Authors get discovered in a new fun and engaging way for readers.
For the readers: It provides access to thousands of great books not found in your local book store. It has fun profiles and features, including ways to bet on books they love and get prizes like a signed physical copy of books, merch, and more. You can review books and talk to people about books in real time to convince them to read and vote on books!
As an author it allows readers to discover and talk about your book without you having to fight to market your book. If you are a “discovered author” for the week, there are opportunities to get paid and it can help boost your book sales outside of the app! If you are tired of marketing your novel, this app could really help you because it makes reading, reviewing, and discovering books a game instead of a task we have to beg for.
It is in the beginning stages and I am looking to create an email list of authors and readers who might be interested in having their book on the app, or join as a reader.
I will not spam or use your email until it is time to notify you that the app is ready and see if you are still interested in joining.
If you are interested, please comment, dm, or email me at [email protected] with:
1.Your full name
2.Email address
3. Say if you'd like to be an Author, Reader, or Both.
Thank you for being part of this wonderful journey with me. If you'd like to talk about it further, please reach out! I hope to see your name on the list soon 🫶📚❤️👏🙌
