My JAMB Journey: Four Attempts, One Dream.
First JAMB attempt: 206.
I chose Agricultural Science at the University of Ilorin. At the time, I just wanted to study anything and escape reality. Unfortunately, I didn't get admission.
Second JAMB attempt: 196.
I chose Agricultural Science at FUNAAB, but once again, I didn't get admission.
Third JAMB attempt: 297.
I chose Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Ibadan. I scored 73 in the post-UTME, but unfortunately, I couldn't meet the cut-off mark.
Fourth JAMB attempt: 308.
I chose Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Ibadan again. This time, I scored 85 in the post-UTME and finally crossed the cut-off mark by just one point.
Today, I am officially admitted into the premier university of Nigeria to study the course I have developed so much passion for.
Looking back, I realise that every setback was part of the journey. Four attempts, countless disappointments, and moments of doubt, but I never gave up.
No one is incapable of achieving their dreams. Sometimes, we fall short not because we lack the ability, but because we haven't put in the work required.
Keep pushing. Keep believing. Your breakthrough may be closer than you think. ❤️
