BREAKING: This person made millions.
Someone bought $13K of Intel $INTC puts yesterday afternoon, hours before earnings. They’re now worth about $1.8 million.
The $68 puts expiring today were 25% out of the money and cost $0.03 each. About 4,400 contracts traded, 90% at the ask. After Intel’s earnings, the puts hit $4.05, roughly a 135x gain (+13,400%).

Elon Musk is without a doubt the most grotesque example of extreme wealth being mistaken for virtuous genius that I’ve ever seen, no contest.
A dude whose business empire has had the exceptional luxury of upwards of $38 BILLlON in government contracts, loans, subsidies, and tax credits that lectures us on government waste, fraud, and abuse.
He takes a literal fucking chainsaw to government aid, while hundreds of thousands die from the lack of access, and simultaneously engorges himself at the public pig trough of endless money.
He then takes the grift cash to buy elections, outright rig them, gains extraordinary access to the backrooms and convinces panting sycophants that he’s “fighting the establishment.”
He IS the establishment.
Years and years of missed deadlines, self driving promises just around the corner. Spectacular theatrical marketing presentations presented as new technology, with an army of ball riding zombies to explain why his latest failure is actually evidence of 5D chess wizardry.
All in line to be the friend he doesn’t have.
He was emailing Epstein to find about the “wildest parties” on child rape island, and you people still clamber.
Speaking of mouth breathing followers, the cult surrounding him is even more disturbingly dangerous.
Every glaring contradiction becomes an insult worthy misunderstanding.
Every dumb comment is a masterpiece. Every legitimate totally fair criticism becomes proof that the questioner is stupid, jealous, or secretly working against humanity itself.
It’s so blatantly a cult.
At what point does this bizarre admiration become deliberately and completely giving up independent thought?
You can acknowledge the success of his companies and the remarkable engineering feats without cosplaying that he’s some infallible prophet.
And give his employees some credit.
He’s a trillionaire with huge political influence, a pretty pathetic appetite for public attention indicative of someone that’s insecure, and a documented history of promise after promise that he doesn’t deliver on.
Please, don’t confuse money with intelligence.
They rarely go hand in hand.
Also, realize that proximity to great power is not synonymous with moral authority. The truth is historically the opposite.
And for fucks sake, stop worshipping people who wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire.
“THE AI BUBBLE WILL POP” !
Everyone who is relying on this “bubble” to burst, - fanatically imagining a world in which OpenAI and Anthropic magically disappear, and that generative AI will go away, and that all the data centers, all the employees, and researchers are going to magically snap out of the universe as if Thanos had used his Claude gauntlet to snap every AI researcher out of this world.
Here's a fun fact, every single major bubble regarding a new technology or industry has never been successful at eradicating that industry. It has only been successful at reevaluating market caps of that industry.
This would be akin to one of my favorite historical bubbles, which was the video game bubble.
A lot of people don't know this, but from 1983 to 1985, video game revenue had fallen over 97% an almost total eradication of the brand new entertainment industry that had swept kids around the world. And then a little company called Nintendo came around and revived it. - AI is far more consequential than video games, and AI revenue is not going to fall 97%, even when you take into account open source.
But that's for another post later.
Think of the dot-com bubble, the fiber-optic bubble, and the clean-tech bubble.
I wonder what all the "the AI bubble is going to burst at any moment" people are going to do when Anthropic inevitably IPOs.
There might be a 20% to 30% drop, and yet they will still crush revenue, the world will continue moving on, and they will continue developing superintelligence.
What do they think the plan was? Even if Anthropic dropped 50% during its IPO, people act like that is going to magically evaporate the thousands of highly talented engineers and millions of GPUs going to train AI. Soon AGI is going to subsume the US economy. This will be a good thing for humanity. A lot of people don't remember that the microbubble with data centers and hyperscalers had popped when CoreWeave and Oracle went down 20-40% in a month. And yet, financial analysts reevaluated, and now they're back to normal.
This technology, dare I say, is the most consequential thing the United States has ever produced, and it doesn't matter what ticker symbols say. We are going to continue developing this technology short of a Great Depression. And even then, the research will still continue.

A lot of people are (predictably) misinterpreting this. There has been almost 0 decline among boys. The big change: Fewer girls say they're bisexual now after that spiked during the pandemic.
That was clearly a fad to people with common sense, so this isn't surprising. Sorry.
Young teenagers are less likely to identify as lesbian, gay or bisexual than a few years ago, according to a new analysis.

If I were president and I wanted to tank the dollar and get rich off it, here is exactly what I would do.
I would hire a Treasury Secretary who already made $3.5 billion crashing another country's currency. I would put my guy in charge of the agency that approves bank charters. I would install a crypto czar with $200M in crypto holdings and give him an ethics waiver so nobody could challenge it.
Then I would sign an executive order banning the government from ever creating a digital dollar so there was no competition.
Then I would have my family launch their own private digital dollar. My family takes 75% of net profits. I would grow it to $4.6 billion in circulation and route a $2 billion Abu Dhabi sovereign fund deal through it to prove it works.
Then I would get Congress to pass a law requiring every stablecoin in the country to hold short-term Treasury bills. Now every dollar of my digital currency is a forced buyer of government debt. Brookings projects $2.3 trillion in captive demand by 2030.
Then I would have my OCC guy grant my family's company a federal bank charter. Now I can issue my digital dollar with federal authority.
Then I would have my Treasury Secretary weaken the actual dollar. Bond buybacks that suppress yields but tank the currency. Build a $950 billion war chest for more. Let the debt hit $40 trillion. Dollar index drops to 99. Gold goes to highest point ever.
Then I would kill the Corporate Transparency Act and delete the FinCEN beneficial ownership database. That was the one law that required every shell company in America to report who actually owns it. Without it, nobody can trace who is buying my stablecoin, who is routing money through it, or where the profits land.
Then I would let the loop run. Weaker dollar drives demand for "stable" digital alternatives. The law I passed forces those alternatives to buy T-bills. That funds the government's debt. My family takes profit on every transaction. Foreign central banks walking away from Treasuries get replaced by legally mandated stablecoin reserves my family controls.
Then I would use sanctions to start cutting countries off from the dollar system entirely. And when those countries need a new way to transact in dollars, the only federally chartered private digital dollar in existence is mine. They can buy it through shell companies nobody can trace because I deleted the ownership database.
I just built a toll booth on the global financial system. I take a cut every time someone uses the dollar. And I made it so nobody can see who is paying.
And every single step I just described has already happened.
So what does that mean for you and I?
The reason the United States can borrow at low rates and keep your mortgage and your car payment and your import prices stable is because foreign central banks hold trillions in dollar reserves. That system has always been public. The benefit went to everyone. Lower borrowing costs, cheaper goods , and the single biggest economic advantage any country has ever had.
What I just described is the privatization of that function. The entity buying the debt is no longer a central bank acting in the public interest. It is a private company taking 75% of net profits for one family. The reserve function used to generate a public benefit. Now it generates a private fee.
Your purchasing power shrinks every time the dollar weakens. Your 401k buys less in real terms. Everything you import costs more. And every time the dollar drops, demand for the private digital alternative goes up. The one the president's family owns. The one that by law must buy government debt.
You absorb the cost of a weakening dollar. His family collects the profit. That is the trade.
The enforcement mechanism to stop a sitting president from doing this? There isn't one. Former White House ethics lawyer Richard Painter says it would be a violation for literally any other federal employee, but not the president.
Nobody voted for this. No one was asked. There was no debate. There is no enforcement mechanism. There is no one investigating it. The Senate tried and it was blocked.
This is the largest conflict of interest in American history happening in broad daylight while everyone argues about something else.
So what do you do? Share this. Make it impossible to ignore. Send it to your representative, your senator, every journalist you follow. We make them answer for it.
Because the only thing protecting this scheme right now is the fact that not enough people understand it yet.

A simple #Kyodo news wire dispatch in Japanese today with one sentence stating Pres. #Trump is displeased with Japan and said “they wouldn’t help us“ has elicited an online firestorm of responses upwards of 650 Japanese.
Using some tools I analyzed the reaction and I suspect this is fairly representative of many Japanese and if so,might begin to indicate a potential friction in US-Japan Relations:
Findings: Upshot of average Japanese responses (based on the 685 replies to this Kyodo News post):
The dominant sentiment is strong disapproval of Trump’s complaint today and frustration with what many see as US arrogance. Japanese users overwhelmingly view Japan’s decision not to provide military support (especially in the context of US actions involving Iran and the Strait of Hormuz) as the correct, law-abiding choice.
They frequently criticize the Takaichi administration for “pandering,” spending 11 trillion yen, and making a high-profile US visit that achieved “zero results.”
Common themes include:
• Anger at him for demanding help while the US maintains bases in Japan, extracts “host-nation support” payments, and (in their view) started an illegal war.
• Pride in Japan staying out of the conflict, often crediting Article 9 of the Constitution.
• Calls for Takaichi to resign or for immediate elections.
• A defiant “we don’t owe you anything” tone, with some noting that Trump also complained about South Korea, Australia, and NATO (so Japan isn’t being singled out).
Overall, the replies reflect mainstream Japanese pacifist/anti-war sentiment on X: relief that Japan didn’t join what many call a “massacre,” irritation at US pressure, and criticism of the current government’s overly submissive diplomacy.
The top replies (hundreds of likes each) are almost uniformly negative toward Trump and the ruling LDP’s approach.
Here are 10 representative translated samples (chosen from the highest-engagement replies to reflect the breadth of the conversation; original Japanese authors are noted for context):
1. @LoneNyanko (576 likes)
“They won’t return Henoko. They attack Iran with a carrier home-ported in Yokosuka. Demand 11 trillion yen. Won’t send the SDF? ‘Japan didn’t help us’? Enough already. Because Takaichi is cozying up and offering tribute to Trump—the international-law-violating mass murderer—we’re being treated like ‘the rich subordinate.’ #TakaichiResign”
2. @baronpiyo (456 likes)
“Japan is on the verge of being destroyed by America. Do you understand the current situation?”
3. @dezHW3tQbKVg0Y2 (429 likes)
“You arbitrarily block the Strait of Hormuz and cut off Japan’s energy supply, then complain ‘Japan didn’t help us’? Huh? Get impeached already.”
4. @zackys (351 likes)
“The 11-trillion-yen offering and that creepy praise turned out to be a complete waste.”
5. @jyoshikikirai (235 likes)
“Immediate dissolution of the Takaichi administration! The US visit produced not even one millimeter of results. We’ve had enough of the ‘good wording’ or ‘peaceful-idiot’ evaluations! #MorningShow”
6. @ninomiyachikara (218 likes)
“This is Trump’s true feeling. He never took seriously a Japanese prime minister who gets all excited from flattery.”
7. @pqQISYRTbj8S02c (178 likes)
“The US has never helped Japan. Without the US we would still be the world’s top semiconductor power and an economic superpower. Quit messing with us. US, get out of Japan already.”
8. @Taaara1205 (132 likes)
“It’s not just Japan—he’s also griping about NATO, South Korea, and Australia. It just shows how isolated the US (President Trump) is in this war. Better not to pay it any mind.”
9. @djnobby (33 likes, but widely quoted)
“Trump actually said: ‘And it’s not just NATO. You know who else didn’t help us? South Korea didn’t help us. You know who else didn’t help us? Australia didn’t help us. You know who else didn’t help us? Japan.’ So headlines that make it sound like Japan alone was named are misleading.”…(continued) ⤵️

This is for anyone who is claiming the "truth" behind homosexuality is the result of childhood trauma.
No, that is not the 'truth'
Childhood trauma, such as parental divorce, or an absent father, or abuse, does not cause male homosexuality.
The evidence is clear and consistent: Large twin studies show moderate genetic heritability for male same-sex attraction (identical twins are far more likely to both be gay than fraternal twins). Shared-environment factors like divorce or family disruption explain essentially zero variance.
Most homosexual men report recognizing strong male-body attraction (and complete disinterest in females) in early childhood (often preschool age) well before any plausible trauma window like a divorce at age 5 or later events.
Biological mechanisms are well-documented: prenatal androgen exposure, hundreds of small-effect genetic variants (from large GWAS), measurable brain-structure differences, and the fraternal birth order effect (each older brother raises the odds).
Yes, gay men report higher rates of adverse childhood experiences on average, but rigorous longitudinal and instrumental-variable studies show the arrow typically runs the other way: early emerging same-sex interests or gender nonconformity make boys more likely to be targeted for abuse or bullying.
Homosexuality appears at stable rates across all cultures and historical eras, and in non-human primates - patterns impossible if it were primarily the result of discrete childhood traumas. There is no coherent mechanism by which a trauma, such as parents' divorce or the absence of the father, could suddenly “rewire” a previously straight boy’s sexual orientation. The trauma-causation story is an outdated psychoanalytic relic that feels intuitive to some but collapses under actual data.
