Most retention teams use AI to pull reports. The ones saving real time are letting it build.
In San Diego, Rytis Lauris, Co-Founder and CEO of Omnisend, broke down the 3 levels of AI in retention marketing with real examples from brands that connected their email platform to Claude and ChatGPT.
You’ll walk away with AI workflows your retention team can start using tomorrow.

It's probably still a bit too early to panic. But it's too late to say there's plenty of time.
Exactly one month left till Black Friday!
But hey, you’ve done this before and you know what you’re doing, so there’s really nothing to panic about. Even if it’s your first Black Friday, you’ll be fine too.
And if you’d still like a second pair of eyes on your plan, our BFCM hub has the checklist, ideas, and tools in one place: omnisend.com/blog/bfcm-holid…
If you heard a noise, that was our social media manager finding out Instagram now connects to Omnisend.
YES. Instagram 🤝 Omnisend. It’s here!
And your next email subscriber could be in your Instagram comments right now.
With our new Social Capture feature, set up a keyword in Omnisend, then invite followers to comment it under your Instagram post or DM it to you. Omnisend takes it from there, sending them a DM asking for their email and adding them to your email list.
But we’ll leave you to explore. Meanwhile, we should probably check on our social media manager. It’s gone suspiciously quiet.
See how it works: omnisend.com/features/instag…
Okay, we think someone in product has a crush on marketing, because these new features will make anyone in marketing soooooo happy. We're talking new gamified popups!
First up is a SCRATCH CARD for your popup, where visitors scratch off a cover to reveal their discount, and you choose the cover image they scratch.
Next is a MYSTERY BOX, where visitors pick one of three boxes to reveal their discount, and you can customize each box separately.
By the way, we also have MULTI-STEP FORMS, which let you ask for an email first and collect more details in the next steps without overwhelming anyone.
BFCM is coming, which makes this a good moment to give first-time visitors a fun reason to sign up before they leave.
You can add all three right from the Form Builder, and if you need more info, we'll leave the links below.

There are 3 things you must do in October:
1. Rewatch the entire Twilight saga.
2. Say “hold on tight, spider monkey” right before you hit send on a big campaign.
3. Once you’re done with that, dedicate one day to learning something new.
For example, spend October 23 at the League of Originals Summit in LA with the people behind the brands you keep buying from. Just saying. Just an idea, you know. But you really should think about it.
We’ll leave the link for the ticket here, just in case: luma.com/e/evt-onyfHRYtx50p0…
Building a brand can feel lonely. And we're not fans of people feeling lonely.
So we teamed up with SHE-com, a community for women in ecommerce, to bring After Hours to the US.
It's an evening of drinks, dinner bites, and honest conversations with other women building product brands.
Los Angeles · October 21
New York · October 26
It's free to attend, but spots are limited.

Just got back from Charleston, South Carolina, and I’m still thinking about it.
Last week I was invited by my partner manager, Liam, to @omnisend's Partner Connect event.
It was a small group, only about 30 agencies, and we were put up at the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina from Wednesday night to Friday afternoon.
When I got to my room, there was a gift basket waiting for me, and one of the products inside was from NouBon.
They’re a client I worked with and helped move from Klaviyo over to Omnisend.
I’d spent all this time working on their emails but had never actually tried their product, so that was a pretty cool moment.
The first night was appetizers, drinks, and a lot of great conversation.
I didn’t expect to meet so many other Canadians.
There were people from the GTA, Ottawa, Quebec City, and BC, all doing work similar to mine.
It was nice to sit down with people who get what you do without having to explain it.
Thursday was the actual conference.
The Omnisend team walked us through where they’re taking the platform, what they’re seeing for Q4 and beyond, and what updates are on the way.
Then they turned it around and asked us what we want to see.
They wanted honest feedback from the people using the platform every day, and you could tell they were listening.
That night we went out for dinner at Leon’s Oyster Shop in a private room, which meant more food and more good conversation.
Afterward we went to a dive bar before heading back to the hotel.
Friday morning we took a catamaran out around the harbor and got to see some of the Civil War history up close, including Castle Pinckney and Fort Sumter.
After that, it was back to the airport, where I kept chatting with the Canadian boys right up until our flights.
A big thank you to Liam for the invite, and to Omnisend for putting on such a well-run event.
From the hotel to the hospitality to all the time they gave us to actually connect, it was clear a lot of thought went into it.
I’m really glad I went and that I met all of you.
Great connecting with everyone!

My friend Rytis from Omnisend is one of my favorite people in this industry, and it mostly comes down to one thing. He's extremely genuine.
He was on stage at Commerce Roundtable last week, and it's clear he knows this space inside and out. He talks about it like someone who's actually in it rather than someone selling you something.
Same goes for the rest of the @omnisend team. Easy to talk to, they take what they hear seriously, and they genuinely care in a way many other platforms don't.
Partners like Omnisend are the reason an event like @CommerceRound can happen at all. Their support is what gets a room full of operators together to trade what's actually working.
Really grateful for their partnership. It's by far been one of the easiest and most authentic ones I've had.
🤝 Paid partnership
Our CEO Rytis Lauris and Bernard Meyer, our head of AI operations, talked with @iamVictorDey of @TheAIJournal1 about how we use AI at Omnisend and why the people who make it work get a raise. aijourn.com/omnisend-ai-rais…

You expected something.
That's the countdown effect.
It's the same nudge that gets someone to act on a Black Friday deal ending at midnight, or a flash sale closing in six hours, instead of just noting it and moving on.
Good news! You can now add a countdown timer to your emails and automations.
It's about as simple as it sounds. In the email you're building, drag the timer in from the elements panel, adjust the settings, and you're done.

We'd rather have someone stand still wearing a giant furry hat for hours.
Or practice the perfect pinky-out tea sip.
Or wear wellies to the office, just in case.
Or wear a costume that took longer to put on than the video took to film.

Yeah, we still can't help there. BUT. If you're using Figma, at least you won't have to download it and upload it to Omnisend anymore, it'll sync automatically.
The Figma integration is officially here!
