The Rotary Club of Omole-Golden held its weekly fellowship today, and it was truly impactful!
We were honoured to have Rtn. Dr. Olanike Olayeni deliver an insightful and powerful lecture on the topic: "Together Against Cancer: From Awareness to Action - Creating Lasting Impact"
Dr. Olayeni took us from awareness to actionable steps, emphasizing early detection, lifestyle choices, regular screening, and how we as Rotarians can create lasting impact in our communities through advocacy and service.
It was an educative, thought-provoking session that has
inspired us to do more in the fight against cancer.

The first Rotary International polio immunization project occurred in the Philippines in 1979—and we're still working to eradicate polio today. Archivists play a crucial role in preserving the stories of yesterday that inspire us to take action today.
