Just finished watching X from 2022 and I'm not trying to be a hot take artist but this might be the worst movie I've watched this year. I know the horror community is really high on this trilogy so I don't know what I'm missing but I found most of this to be insufferable.

Two of these guys had freak injuries and Kawhi has been hurt every season for a decade. How exactly do people want the NBA to legislate this kind of stuff. Are they supposed to switch to 40 minute games because Jalen Suggs got a bone bruise?
I don't usually cape for the league but "No one can reliably point to what exactly is causing injuries or if there's even statistical evidence for it but it must be fixed" is not really a working strategy.
It really doesn't matter if the league's injury research says this isn't an outlier time historically. It doesn't matter if the research says the back to backs aren't the problem. You can say bad luck all you want but at some point, the product is not in a place the consumers want and you have to account for that.
Too many guys are hurt. No one, not one single person, wants this. Figure out what you need to do to abet it.

It's bad enough that YouTube has been gradually overrun with AI narration and visuals but for some reason the thing that bothers me the most are the AI thumbnails. It's absolutely ruined the layout and look of YouTube. It just makes your home page look like a slop fest.

What happened with immigration enforcement is that ICE stopped going aggressively after the foreign gang members and rapists populating the Communist-run inner cities, because feral leftists kept trying to commit suicide by cop and creating PR problems for the administration in an election year.
But ICE still wants to keep its numbers up so the President can make good on his promises.
So what do they do? They go after the low-hanging fruit: people who aren't hiding, who won't resist, who have families and jobs, and who can be picked up on paperwork irregularities.
A good way to keep the numbers up, sure, and the law's the law. But we're still left with hordes of hostile foreigners taking over American cities, terrorizing Americans, and acting as a source of free votes for the commies running these sanctuary cities. A major problem that still needs to be fixed.

These people have spent two years celebrating the cruelty inflicted on other immigrants and refusing to recognize their humanity or the nuance of situations until it's happened to someone they care about. And now they're being eaten alive by their own base.

This family fully believed there was a green card in process. They had submitted all their paperwork to a lawyer, and had no idea something was amiss.

We had to lose eventually and every team has issues (the Seahawks just lost to a Broncos team we crushed). It's any given Sunday in the league and we thankfully gave ourselves a cushion by winning early. But having every weakness show up at once is just very glaring and rough.
