Let me get this straight: Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump called our highest ranking military officers away from their posts on the eve of a government shutdown to trash women and disavow the laws of war that help protect our service members when they fall into enemy hands?
Pete Hegseth is a complete and utter embarrassment and dishonor to our military.
"We unleash overwhelming and punishing violence on the enemy. We also don't fight with stupid rules of engagement. We untie the hands of our warfighters to intimidate, demoralize, hunt, and kill the enemies of our country.”
Every respectable general should have walked out after this sentence.
