Terrible news. His time at WFC was relatively short but his impact was huge. Injury + the rise of Ian Roper cost him his place here but he was a player who never once let us down. Find a centre half pairing who hated defeat more than Richard Green & Adi Viveash. I’ll wait. RIP

That felt like the first signs of Grantball being able to flex its muscles. Much fitter and more athletic than the opponent, blending with an understanding of what each other is doing and wanting with collective responsibility and sky high expectations of each other. A fine win.

For all the chatter about us having no decent forwards, I can’t remember a better performance from TWO of our strikers for a long, long time. Lee Grant’s football certainly gets you off your seat. Hats off to the recruitment team. Crew and Moore just as good as the two up top.

We understand clubs need to generate revenue, but charging supporters to celebrate a birthday or special occasion feels out of step with that community spirit. Fans already contribute so much financially, and not every moment needs to become another paid-for add-on.
