Lazarus is now linked to the biggest hack in crypto history🚨
The same group responsible for the $1.46 BILLION Bybit hack in February 2025 is now behind the $6.3 BILLION Binance exploit.
I’m talking about North Korean Lazarus Group, specifically its TraderTraitor operation.
Binance lost $6.3B across 10 different blockchains
So how did this happen?
the attackers allegedly compromised a DevOps engineer’s laptop, gaining access to an internal service environment that could be used to submit unauthorized withdrawals.
One of the transactions contained 50 EIP-7702 authorizations, including a delegation affecting Binance’s hot wallet known as Binance 14.

EIP-7702 allows an Ethereum account to delegate execution to smart contract code.
$3 BILLION has reportedly been frozen through intervention by stablecoin issuers and blockchain security participants.
