Remembering the crew of the Penlee lifeboat who tragically lost their lives 43 years ago.

43 years ago, eight brave crew members @penleelifeboat launched in treacherous conditions to aid the Union Star.
Tragically, 16 people lost their lives that night.
This is the crew's story told by their children. It's also a tale of hope and community resilience.

There is no English county that has its own flag, language, history, tartan, parliament, culture and heritage.
So don't call Cornwall an English county.
It's an ancient Celtic nation and a duchy.
