Great one-on-one session today with Alessandro!
He came in wanting to improve his kickoffs by finding a smoother approach to the ball while increasing his hang time. We started by charting a few kicks, and his hang times were consistently in the 3.5–3.6 second range.
From there, we went back to the fundamentals. We fine-tuned his approach and emphasized hurdling through the ball to maximize hang time. We then moved into our 4-3 kickoff drill, focusing on his final steps, exploding up and through the ball, and allowing his momentum to carry him through the kick.
The results spoke for themselves. By the end of the session, Alessandro was consistently hitting 3.8–4.1 second hang times.
That’s a huge improvement in just one session. It goes to show what can happen when you trust the process, focus on the details, and put in quality reps.

55 YARDS. IN THE HEAT. INTO THE WIND. 🎯🔥
Class of 2028 kicker Nathanael Batchelor puts together a statement kick, drilling a 55-yard field goal at the University of West Alabama.
With 7–10 MPH swirling winds snd 115° turf temperatures. Nate still steps up and delivers. That’s what preparation, confidence, and consistent work look like.
