"There is so much waste in our system and we will not tolerate it." - Peter Obi People like Dayo cannot thrive in Obi's presidency let alone share Prado.

FUNSO DOHERTY EXPOSES THE PYRAMID OF AGBEROISM AND MULTI-LAYERED TAXATION ON LAGOS ROADS; THE PYRAMID. The Lagos State Governorship Candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), HE Funso Doherty, has drawn attention to what he describes as an entrenched system of agberoism and multiple layers of taxation operating across Lagos roads, raising serious questions about who benefits from the system and the burden it places on residents, motorists, traders, and transport operators. Here's is the pyramid. According to Funso Doherty, the problem goes beyond the activities of individual street-level collectors. He argues that agberoism has evolved into a deeply entrenched structure, allegedly sustained by political interests and used as a channel for extracting revenue from ordinary Lagosians. His position raises a fundamental question: why has a problem that continues to affect the daily lives and economic activities of Lagos residents remained unresolved? Doherty argues that meaningful reform requires confronting the structures that sustain this system, rather than merely addressing its visible operators. Lagos deserves a transparent, accountable, and properly regulated transport and revenue collection system; one that protects livelihoods, eliminates arbitrary levies, and allows businesses and commuters to thrive without unnecessary financial burdens. The people of Lagos deserve answers, accountability, and a government that puts their welfare above political interests. The conversation about a cleaner, safer, and more accountable Lagos must begin with confronting the structures that undermine its progress. O TI YÁ! A New Lagos Is Possible. The New Way Has Come.

Moonshot by TechCabal is less than a day away! Every year, when I write the marketing charter for the event, I ask myself the same question: "Is it even possible to outdo last year?" And every year, out of what I can only call sheer delusion, I decide that it is. One thing stood out to me this year. A lot of people on the Moonshot team have worked on two, three or all four editions, and you can see that tenure in our execution across marketing, design, programming and everything in between. We set out to reach people everywhere, online and offline, and kept testing tools and formats until our message landed. In the ad managers alone, I've tested more than 80 sets of creatives in the last six weeks. So it's been genuinely rewarding to watch people marvel at our work. If you've been thinking about coming, use the code MSVIP20 for 20% off your ticket. It might be one of the best decisions you make this year. PS: Moonshot is already trending a day before which to me is wild.

Who can bring a simple branded T-shirt to life in 48 hours? 👀 Need one for Moonshot. I already have the design, I just need someone who can handle the T-shirt sourcing and the actual printing. If you can make this happen, please shoot me a DM. 🙏🏽

Help!!! I need a miniflat or 2bedroom apartment around Ogba/Omole/Aguda/magodo axis. I'm hoping to take over your apartment without having to go through the stress of agents again or a direct access to the owner/lawyer. New houses or close to new. Please.

The only place APC hasn’t put up a poster is in the sky. Lagos has been successfully wallpapered with political posters. Everywhere in Ikeja, around MMA, on both sides of the bridges. Everywhere you turn, there’s a poster. I just wonder what happens after the election.

This post should have a minimum of 10 million views, and needs to be forwarded to every early to mid career professional (senior ones who don’t know this are already lost), every job hunter, every university student across Nigeria. More people should speak on this topic.
Ownership is not a feeling. It's a decision. Most people treat their standards as a response to their environment performing when conditions are good, pulling back when they're not. I've built my entire career on the opposite principle.

I’m genuinely surprised by the Lagos governorship debate and the conversation around it. When comparing the DG with the other aspirants, I think we’re overlooking one very important fact: he is currently the DG of Lagos State. He is already part of the government in power.

If you’re presenting yourself as a candidate for continuity, shouldn’t there also be some ownership of the administration’s record, both its achievements and its shortcomings?

And I’m genuinely asking: is framing the conversation entirely around what he “will do,” rather than what the administration has done and his role within it, a form of gaslighting?
