This isn't just another meme coin.
It's a community-driven fundraising movement supporting one of the world's oldest wildlife research projects, the M.A.D Lab, who have adapted the token as their official fundraising token (juliengamartin.github.io/onl…).
Here's the story break-down:
• 🏔️ The Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory's marmot project was founded in 1962 and is one of the oldest continuous wildlife studies in the world.
• 💰 After government funding cuts that the lab had for decades prior, their decades of research were put at risk.
• 📸 To raise awareness, the researchers launched OnlyMarms - sharing marmot content on OnlyFans to attract donations.
• 🌍 The story exploded across international media and continouse to explode day by day.
• 🚀 The Solana community launched $OnlyMarms to support the mission, with all the fees redirected to Julien Martin, the current project lead.
Then something unprecedented happened.
🤝 The research team officially embraced the initiative. Something that has never happened on @Solana before with a science team from a university.
