Shame on me for waiting this long to watch Obsession. Its the best movie of 2026 so far. (Yup, better than The Odyssey)
It really sucks that we're finally getting a new Sandra Bullock movie, but its going to be a legacyquel nobody asked for.
My only nitpick is the first act is almost too fast-paced, and, as usual for Nolan films, sometimes hard to follow the exposition dumps.
#TheOdyssey meets the hype. Its a hair below Nolan's very best, but its an exceptional adaptation, and a brilliant ending. Hathaway and Pattinson shine. Damon is good too. Go see it. 4/4 stars
New Column! Benjamin Martin's journey in #ThePatriot mirrors America's own: born in violence, haunted by its past, struggling to live up to its ideals, and always capable of choosing something better. That's why The Patriot still matters. #FourthofJuly

The casting for #Houseofthedragon is honestly a C- at best. Not to say the actors aren't talented, but they are so........blah on screen, especially compared to Game of Thrones. Its the main reason I just cant get hooked.
Most music biopics are made for the subjects fans of course.
What makes this different is there's a super interesting version of #Michael that can stand on its own apart from the genre tropes. The first 30-40 minutes is that movie.
But then it devolves into fan service
#Michael is half a good movie; the jackson family part is legitimately good. The rest is typical musical biopic trope only made distinct by how well Jafaar Jackson plays Michael.
MJ fans will love it, and that's pretty much the movie's purpose.
2.5/4 stars
Mike Flanagan still has a bright future and I look forward to every project yet to come.
But his masterpiece was, and always will be, Midnight Mass.
Neve Campbell is so wildly overqualified for #TheLincolnLawyer (and I like the show)
"#Crime101 is an introductory study of a heist film, a beginner class designed for the uninitiated. In many ways, this film could serve as an introductory lesson in the history of crime thrillers for a new generation of movie fans."

Top 5 animated films (in some order): Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story 2, Zootopia, Finding Nemo, and I know im leaving out some incredible movies...
My two main complaints of #Zootopia2: The dialogue was weirdly repetitive, and it was unnecessarily meta at times.
Still fine, still fun.
But not special like the 1st one, which is one of the greatest animated films ever.
Archie got his comeuppance alot, but in this episode, so did Mike, and Robb Reiner did some of his best "meathead" work in this episode. Mike wasn't perfect, he was human, and in many ways a typical male in different ways than Archie. May the memory of "Meathead" be a blessing.
The episode "Mike's Friend" went against this template. Like all great sitcoms, Mike was shown to also be flawed, and importantly, arrogant. He was also shown to be human; he had a chauvinistic side, and thought he was better at chess (and book smarts) than he really was.
