I need a project account to cook with.
Give me room to work on the content, handle replies, figure out what resonates with the audience,
build conversations around the project, grow the community and find opportunities for growth.
I’ve been doing this with creators and builders, helping them grow their presence on X, and I’m looking to work with more projects.
If you’re building something and need an SMM who can think strategically and execute, my DMs are open.
Who’s letting me cook?
Woke up hungry for growth and more knowledge
So I’m making a move
Going hard this week on learning more about my skill, Social Media Management.
I’ll be exploring new strategies, studying what makes brands grow, and finding ways to bring more value to the brands I work with
There’s always room to get better, and I want to keep pushing myself to the next level
If you know any banger courses, useful resources, or SMMs I should be learning from, put me on.
When trying to land a client, don’t get so caught up in impressing them that you start promising things you can’t guarantee.
Instead,
- Understand what they need
- Develop a strategy
- Show them how you intend to help them achieve their goals
- Set realistic expectations from the start, so both of you understand what you’re working towards
You don’t have to promise miracles to prove your worth.
Clients should be able to see the value in your thinking and approach, not just the results you promise them.
I’ve been working with brands in the AI niche for a couple of months,
and we’ve seen significant growth in engagement, starting from 0.
Here are a few things I’ve learned about growing in this space.
If you’re looking to build an audience in AI, here’s a playbook to follow.
- Stay updated on new models, tools, and developments. There’s always something new happening.
- Don’t just announce new releases. Test them, compare models, and share what you find.
- Share opinions on AI developments. Don’t be afraid to challenge popular takes if you have a good reason to.
- Find your angle. You can’t cover everything in AI, so focus on what genuinely interests you.
- Pay attention to the questions people ask. Turn them into useful content.
- Share practical workflows, experiments, and things you’ve built with AI.
- Look beyond the hype. Explain what makes a new model different, what it’s good at, and where it falls short.
- Connect with other AI creators and builders. Join conversations, share ideas, and build genuine relationships.
There’s a lot happening in AI, but simply posting about every new development isn’t enough.
Find your angle, bring something useful to the conversation, and give people a reason to follow you.
Went from complaining to my friend about needing a job,
to closing a client within 3 days.
You really can’t explain how things work sometimes.
Which is why you have to keep showing up and building.
And don’t forget to have friends who encourage you and cheer you on like @MarvinHarryP

Before you get into Social Media Management, here’s what you need to know:
- Research: Study winning creators and brands. Understand what works and, more importantly, why it works.
- Be versatile: Find different ways to drive attention, engagement and results. Don’t rely on one approach. That’s what gets your clients impressed.
- Know the TOV: Always ask for the brand’s Tone of Voice. Knowing how the brand should sound makes content creation much easier.
- Understand the audience: Know who you’re speaking to and what they actually care about.
- Think beyond content: Every post should have a purpose, whether it’s awareness, engagement, community, conversions, or something else.
- Track what works: Study your results, identify patterns and double down on what’s working.
- Bring ideas: Don’t just do the work. Bring strategies, opportunities and new ideas to the table.
Unpopular opinion;
If you’re building a brand on X, not every controversial topic needs your opinion.
You don’t have to participate in every conversation to stay relevant.
Remember, your prospective clients will likely scroll through your X page before deciding whether they want to work with you.
Your page is your first CV,
Be intentional about what you put out there.
Been at the hospital since yesterday,
A close friend of mine got really ill, and we had to rush him to the doctor.
Got really scared, but I’m glad he’s responding to treatment now.
Moments like this remind you not to take your health for granted.
Life gets busy, but please remember to rest and take care of yourself.
Would you rather work with a client who pays you $1,500/month but:
- wants to be involved in every little detail
- keeps asking for changes
- expects you to always be available
OR
A client who pays you $500/month but:
- trusts you to do your job
- gives you the freedom to bring your ideas to life
- respects your time and boundaries
Which one are you picking?
