I don’t like that Jared Leto is in Bladerunner 2049, it kind of marrs the whole movie for me for some reason. Like imagine him in a Dune movie - it just wouldn’t work.
It’s kind of cool being an older white student in a grad program and doing group projects with 23 year old Asian exchange students. They just defer to you while doing all the work. It’s probably how administering the British Raj felt.
Saw an old gay guy and a black lady get into it at a Walgreen's, I think it was over who was first in line at the pharmacy? He was calling her a nasty bitch and wanted to drop the hard R so bad, and she was calling him a f*ggot. #IronSisters
Do people post things like this on marketplace just to see what kind of person would come to pick it up?
1000% almost verbatim what I told my bf after we saw it. Holmes linked with a guy obviously not her type if Sunny Balwani is any proof but who could (a) raise their children with family money since she owes nine figures in restitution, and (2) vindicate everything she claimed

Seyfried defaulting to empathy for Elizabeth after watching Billy footage is a great example of how he is used as bait. How much is embellished or just him naturally doesn’t matter because at the very least Elizabeth knows he makes her look better by comparison.
Liz Holmes and Billy Evans getting j*wed out of their successfully negotiated piece of the back-end of a movie that will make tens of millions (against expectations) yet do nothing to rehab their reputations is fitter punishment than her truncated Club Fed sentence could ever be.
All the young and mostly gay NYC figurative painters with big gallery representation and huge Instagram followings look like they’re just painting Pixar characters
This Homeworthy of Thomas McKean's (the Metrocard art guy) LES apartment is so impeccable, I wish I could liquify it and shoot it into my veins

Missouri is its own thing. It surpasses any “regional identity” it is the ultimate culmination of America itself. Missouri is the American dream
Fair to say this film was life-changing for me. Only some of John Waters’s early movies and possibly the Taylor/Burton Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf had the same before/after sea-change effect on my personality.
