Final Day, Oct 6 · CHIJMES Singapore If intelligence is no longer scarce, what is? 5 keynotes, 3 panels and 5 finalist demos kept landing on the same answers: purpose, trust, and who gets paid when agents do the work. Here's what we heard 👇
The road to Final Day. 10/6 marks the end of BUIDL_QUESTS 2026. But it’s not the end of our journey. This summer we went across 10 cities — Malaysia, Singapore, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Beijing, San Francisco, Hong Kong, and New York — through hackathons, demo days, founders’ dinner, researchers’ night and VC party. 319 projects in. Top 10 to Singapore. One Final Day at CHIJMES. From ideas to agents. This is just the beginning of something we believe in...

This summer, we started with one question: What does a company look like in the Agentic era? After 319 projects, weeks of screening, interviews and conversations with founders, we saw many different answers. On October 6, we bring that question back to Singapore. Here’s what you can expect: 🏆 Top 10 Reveal The final 10 teams of BUIDL_QUESTS 2026 are announced. 🎤 Keynotes Speakers from AMBR, Amber Group, amber.ac, MIA, OpenArena.to and across the ecosystem. 🧑‍💻 Founders, Teams & the Agentic Company If agents can build, research and operate workflows, what still needs to be done by a founder — and when do you hire a person versus another agent? 🔐 Agents, Identity & Ownership Who owns an agent’s identity, wallet and keys? And who is responsible when an autonomous agent makes the wrong decision? 💰 Capital & the Agentic Company If agents make smaller teams capable of doing much more, how should investors rethink team size, burn, ownership and what they are actually underwriting? 🚀 Top 5 Final Demos + Awards The final five teams take the stage and close out BUIDL_QUESTS 2026. From who builds the company, to who controls the agent, to how capital evaluates it, Final Day brings the Agentic Company conversation into one room. 📍 CHIJMES Hall, Singapore 📅 October 6 🎟️ Register to join Final Day: openarena.to/en/events/buidl…

@amber_ac_'s BUIDL_QUESTS 2026 Is Now Live 🔥 🚀 Building on the momentum of the OPC Hackathon opening ceremony, amber.ac’s global competition for AI-native founders, agent builders, crypto infrastructure teams and solo builders is officially open. AI is moving beyond simple task assistance into perception, reasoning, coordination, and long-horizon execution. Agents can now operate across tools, workflows, and economic systems — enabling one founder, supported by agents, to build and operate like an entire company. Our theme this year is Autonomous Agents & Sovereignty. Builders can submit through OpenArena, build in public, climb the leaderboard, and compete across five tracks: 🔹 Autonomous Agents: Agent applications, multi-agent systems, tooling, security, and workflow automation. 🔹 Sovereignty: Identity, wallets, payments, data ownership, privacy, ZKP, TEE, and governance. 🔹 Agent Commerce: Agent marketplaces, Agent-as-a-Service, agent payments, and autonomous digital businesses. 🔹 AI Hardware & Applications: On-device AI, edge deployment, wearables, smart devices, and physical-digital agent applications. 🔹 OPC / Super Individuals: AI-native solo builders, one-person companies, and personal AI products. Here is what you can expect: 🔹 Build in Public: Share progress, gain community signal, and advance through staged review. 🔹 Ecosystem Access: Connect with mentors, judges, investors, and partners across AI and Crypto. 🔹 Global Visibility: Showcase your project to a growing network of founders and industry leaders. 🔹 Singapore Finals: The Top 10 teams will receive travel support to join Pitch Day, Demo Day, and the AI x Art x Sustainable Exhibition. 🏆 Support and Awards To support exceptional teams throughout the competition, BUIDL_QUESTS 2026 will provide more than US$400,000 in total support, distributed across all awarded teams, including cash prizes, partner credits, ecosystem resources, and travel support. 🔹 US$50,000+ initial cash prize pool 🔹 US$350,000+ in partner credits and resources 🔹 US$2,000 travel support for each Top 10 finalist team 🔹 3-month Notion Business plan for every participating builder 📅 Key Dates and Milestones August 12, 18:00 SGT: Registration closes September 11: Top 20 announced September 24: Top 10 finalists announced October 5: Pitch Day in Singapore October 6: Demo Day in Singapore The next era of AI will be shaped by builders who turn autonomous intelligence into efficient systems, sustainable companies, and new models of human-agent collaboration. Today, the Singapore OPC Hackathon officially kicked off BUIDL_QUESTS 2026—and we received 82 project submissions from participating builders. For many participants, today marked the first step from idea to demo. But this is not the finish line. It is the beginning of the journey toward building a real business. OPC, or One Person Company, represents a new way of building: people + AI agents. By creating agentic services that can operate autonomously, one person can achieve the execution power of a team of ten. Every project submitted today on OpenArena.to will automatically advance to the BUIDL_QUESTS OPC Track. Whether or not participants received an award at the Hackathon, all projects will enter a new round of evaluation based on real-world business and startup criteria. Participants can continue updating and improving their projects until August 12. Projects will be evaluated through a comparative judging process involving both human and AI judges. Our AI agent judge, “00,” will also be publicly available on OpenArena.to, where the judging results and related information will be published after the event. If anyone has comments or suggestions regarding our judging criteria, they are welcome to share them directly with our AI agent judge. Every piece of feedback will contribute to its continued learning and evolution, helping us improve the judging process over time. “Autonomous Agents & Sovereignty” is more than the theme of BUIDL_QUESTS 2026. We are also building autonomous agents of our own and continuously exploring new ways to innovate. The participants are building—and so are we. Let’s BUIDL! 🚀 More information: openarena.to/en/events/buidl…
