DevOpsDays Seattle is a volunteer-led community-focused event targeted at Seattle-area DevOps professionals. In addition to our CFP-based schedule (which is open for submissions now), we also hold open spaces onsite for attendees to discuss whatever topics interest them!

Advice for any tech worker who's been laid off: if your former employer comes running back to you asking for you to save their bacon, you can and should quote your "fuck off" consulting rates.
Also, if it won't buy a house those rates are almost certainly not high enough.

Thank you for your patience as we researched whether we could hold DevOpsDays Seattle later this year. Given the uncertainty of the situation, we have decided not to reschedule. We will be back, better than ever in 2021.

We have reached the difficult decision to not hold DevOpsDays Seattle on April 14th and 15th, due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We are working on whether it is postponed or canceled. We’ll update devopsdays.org/seattle with more details as we get them.

Because I’ve just been reminded of one of my favorites. I always say, I don’t care how special you think your snowflake is, they all still have six sides.

A lot of good proposals for @DeliveryConf, but I'd love to see more on #Monitoring and #Observability and the #ContinuousDelivery pipeline.
How can we identify issues sooner? What can we do in the pipeline to make prod better?

We’re proud to offer 3 gold #DevOpsDays sponsor packages ($7k value) at no cost to #STEM orgs in the #Seattle area. This gives you the ability to educate our community about the work you’re doing to empower underrepresented people in tech.
