The UK petition has passed 10k signatures! This means we WILL be getting an answer on game destruction. I encourage everyone to keep signing to get to 100k so it can be brought before Parliament, ESPECIALLY if the answer ends up being dismissive. petition.parliament.uk/petit…

No, that's 9pm in local solar time. They dinner eat so late because they had a siesta and then lunch at 3pm.
When you say "in Spain they don't eat dinner until 9:00 can you imagine eating so late!" I hear "I don't know how time zones work or understand that people run their day based on solar time rather than the arbitrary numbers on the clock". 9:00 in Spain is like 7:00 anywhere else.

This is untrue and misleading. Taking things literally is not a type of comedy. It's theft, and it can land you in JAIL.

The look of disapproval is a valid JS function name. I like to use it for error handling.

This is insanely petty and inappropriate. Don’t be this kind of professor. Treat your students with respect.

So, Google Chrome gives all *.google.com sites full access to system / tab CPU usage, GPU usage, and memory usage. It also gives access to detailed processor information, and provides a logging backchannel. This API is not exposed to other sites - only to *.google.com.

Used to work with a grumpy older guy called Philip Eno and I was always too scared to ask if he was related to Brian Eno. Anyway, years later I actually met Brian and I said to him: "Weird question, but is your brother Philip Eno?". He replied: "No, he's English".

The nurse said she needed some urine to test for potassium. "K," I said. Silence. "I bet everyone makes that joke," I say. She's like "In 15 years of nursing not one person has made that joke"

I’m not quite sure how to explain what’s happened tonight, because it’s still happening - but here goes… At 4:40pm I jumped on a train from London to Edinburgh.. It was comfy, it was quiet In hindsight, too good to last…
