When Andrew Jackson passed, sitting President James K. Polk issued an executive order putting the nation into mourning and wrote this. "Andrew Jackson is no more. He departed this life... full of days and full of honors. His country deplores his loss, and will ever cherish his memory."
James K. Polk was Old Hickory’s boy. Andrew Jackson knew him as a child, mentored him in politics and, in the end, helped make him president. Jackson was a family friend of the Polks in Tennessee and a guest at the family home while young James was growing up. Polk’s wife Sarah had known him even longer. She and her siblings called him Uncle Andrew. In 1823, Polk was a young state legislator when Tennessee deadlocked over a U.S. Senate seat. Polk broke with his own allies and cast his vote for Jackson, who won. It was the start of a political bond that lasted the rest of Jackson’s life. From then on, Polk was Jackson’s man. When Old Hickory became president, Polk led his fights in Congress. Jackson treated him almost like a son and his colleagues started calling him Young Hickory. And Jackson took care of his boy. In 1835, he lobbied behind the scenes to make Polk Speaker of the House. He even sent Polk a letter about it with instructions to burn it after reading. In 1844, the old general summoned Polk to the Hermitage and told him he should be the next president. That November, he was. On his way to Washington, Polk stopped at the Hermitage to see Jackson one last time. At his inauguration, he quoted Old Hickory’s famous toast: “Our Federal Union, it must be preserved.” Jackson died soon after, but he lived to see Young Hickory follow in his footsteps to the White House.

How hard is it to release the Epstein Files, deport illegals, and not start a forever war? If Republicans had done what they promised, we would have killed it last night.

The Iran War is the greatest political blunder in the last two decades at least. A catastrophically stupid decision. An unforgivable betrayal of America First principles.

If Republicans ever want to win again, we have to: 1. Stay out of the Middle East 2. Fight for the Middle Class 3. Defend the Constitution No more worshipping Trump or Israel. Time for actual America First.

One of my favorite Daniel Boone stories was when some Indians were dumb enough to kidnap his daughter. Boone promptly led a rescue party where he tracked the Indians down, ambushed them and then rescued his daughter along with a few other girls. American, remember who you are descended from.
Today in American History: 1734 Happy birthday to American legend and folk hero Daniel Boone! Frontiersmen and pioneer, Daniel Boone became famous by pushing west past the Appalachians, his settlement of Kentucky and many exploits fighting Indians.

Literally no one in America was named Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed for the first 200 years of its existence.
