A thread of threads of my tweets about Wilhelm Reich & Reichian therapy. Not that many so far, to be expanded over time.
A note from me, putting armouring into a live socio-political atrocity complex: substack.com/@danlowe757680/…

The fundamental insight of embodiment is that human psychological experience is not just mental.
We do not merely think our way through life. We live through sensation, tension, impulse, posture, breath, emotion, physiology, and relational patterning. Much of what shapes us happens before language and outside conscious awareness.
No living person originated this insight. It does not belong to any therapy “brand.”
Generations of clinicians, philosophers, contemplative traditions, movement practitioners, and careful observers of human behavior have refined this understanding and developed ways of applying it to help people become more aware, integrated, and alive.
It is not proprietary knowledge. You do not need to become a devotee of a branded modality, and you do not need a certification from a for-profit business to begin paying attention to embodied experience.
This insight stretches across centuries of human inquiry and remains foundational to any serious approach working toward greater self-awareness, integration, and wholeness.
