The Pinettes jumped the rail at Jazz Fest. Note: Nope that’s not me; just a similarly hansom gent of a certain age.

The Pinettes! Such fun. Great, inventive brass band music. “Ain’t no city like the one I’m from!”

Never miss The Pinettes! There was a brilliant saxophone/ vocal call and response duet. One of my top three Jazz Fest shows, with Freedia’s gospel/bounce suite and Lil’ Wayne’s greatest hits sampler platter.
