When my 14 year old daughter wanted to get stronger for volleyball, I told her I would train her. Being a 14 year old who didn't want to listen to Dad, she said she wanted to go to a training place down the street. We said fine. We got her 8 sessions. I told them she needed to build strength and explosiveness. The first day they put her on a circuit of trap bar deadlifts, one arm dumbbell rows, and box jumps. No rest periods. One after another. Light weights. After the workout, I said "That workout was shit. Fuck this, I'm training you, the end." By the end of 6 months, she was deadlifting 200 pounds, squatting 135, and shoulder pressing 65 for reps (at 120 pound bodyweight). Guess what? She is way more explosive, has gained muscle, and is a much better volleyball player. By 16, she accomplished her goal of being on varsity. I often get asked "hey, I know you train your daughter, what should my kid do?" SIMPLE SHIT. GET STRONG AT THE BASICS. The issue is simple. Kids are weak. Get them stronger. The end.

My life has had 2 different time periods - before fitness and after fitness. The before fitness guy is on the left. I'm 30 years old. Fat and bloated. I knew what I had to do - I had to eat right. I had to stop drinking beer every weekend. I had to be more consistent in the gym. But he didn't have a huge reason to do those things - so he looked like crap, and he felt like shit. The guy on the right is 45 years old. He does all those things with ROCK solid consistency, and he has for years. 2 months after this "fat guy" picture was taken, my wife became pregnant. Once my daughter was born, shit got real - real fast. I knew I had to kill the "old me" and become a responsible man. The thing was, I had very little time to train. I had a kid in diapers, I was working full time, and so was my wife. On the internet, I found "Reverse Pyramid Training" - a short, intense protocol that had me training 3 times per week for 40 minutes, no more. Just 4 exercises per session, 2 sets per exercise. I was out of the gym before other dudes finished their warm up. I torched 85 pounds by combining the Reverse Pyramid Training Program with a high protein diet. The diet is on you, but I want to gift you the program that changed EVERYTHING for me. It's perfect if you're trying to build the habit of going to the gym, and you're ready to get strong as hell quickly. Over 8k people have downloaded it so far, and you can grab it in the next tweet

Fasting when you're in a gaining phase is stupid. Just because your growth hormone spikes when you fast DOESN'T MEAN you're going to gain more muscle. Eating is anabolic. It helps you build muscle. BUT when you need to lose fat, it's a different story. I never fast when I'm bulking. I always fast when I'm cutting. Fasting makes fat loss simple. A time restricted eating window allows you to keep things simple, and in many people actually REDUCES hunger. There are 4 main ways to fast I frequently use myself, and with clients. Grab our Fasting For Fat Loss Guide in the next tweet, and download the guide so you can use it in your cut.

"Your program is repetitive, you just do the same workouts each week." Yeah, that's the point. Your desire for novelty is leaving you small and weak. Repeat workouts. Get stronger. Gain muscle. That's how it works. I'll give you a proper program in the next tweet - do THAT and nothing else for 6 months and report back.
