Ed Asner gave me his seat on the SAG-AFTRA National Board 3 years ago. He was a champion for autistic people. I didn't know him well, but I will miss him terribly. I first met him in NYC over 35 years ago. He remained the same highly principled man to the end. RIP.

#SAGAFTRA members, mail in those ballots. In the 2019 Los Angeles local election, 73,132 ballots were mailed, & only 12,743 were returned, that’s only 17.42% For Pres & Secretary/Treasurer a total of 145,692 ballots were mailed & 30,837 were returned, a rate of 21.2%. #VOTE 📬

Fran Drescher put out an email saying Membership First is an "existential threat" to broadcasters. She neglects to tell you that Broadcast contracts are mostly approved by the Executive Committee and all MF members of the EXEC have ALWAYS supported Broadcast initiatives. Always!
