"My Dilemma" out now, a goofy song about making goofy songs.
Thank you to Joey Frevola (KYROS) for asking me to sing on this, so glad it's finally out after like 3-4 years of making this happen. π€

FFO: Weird Al vs Stephen Sondheim (but prog metal)
Book 2 turns 3 (years old, but we have been writing...)
Would you go see us play this whole book front to back? Just wondering...
Got any favorites you'd like to see videos of us playing live on tour this year?
ππ
Most importantly:
Thank you for continuing to read.

My band and I caught the first show of the new @leprousband album tour and had a blast seeing their new set, and new live keyboardist β Harrison White, who I've been Internet friends with for years and finally met. He's enormous.
Cheers and best of luck here in the States xx

Nine years since our first show... Happy anniversary to us I guess. π€
No matter how many hundreds of miles or new experiences deeply change us, there's always the power of friendship.
The shrimp and the fox have been cooking up fresh stories.
Thank you for continuing to read.
What music has been on your mind, nerds? Been mostly listening to our new demos lately... π
Bonus points if your recommendations are book themed. ππΆ

NEW Others by No One... ? ππ
working on new music is my happy place. πΆ
Very excited about these songs I'm writing with @flummoxband AND having a blast trading files this last while arranging material for some NEW @Othersbynoone π
Pic from that time FLUMMOX opened a sold-out show with @imperialnyc πΎπ₯
The Bookworms and the (Jamie) King, eight years since this summer day. π
We would go on to collaborate on just about everything we've published since. Making our first Book together was a highlight of our musical endeavours and some of the most fun we've ever had. π
Pride Month may be over, but the world isn't yet. Don't ever stop reading, fellow bookworms. π³οΈβππ
Still the most proud to play our first show since coming back (AND coming out) at a hometown Pride festival on the first of June.

"Debt for your thoughts?"
With our prog metal reputation for complicated arrangements, it was nice on tour to dedicate part of our show to an improvised jam session.
Sometimes it's cool to just play. π

Happy 30.
He was there from the beginning, he came up with the name, but most importantly: he played the bass.
Seriously though, ya gotta give it up for Quique Bucio. π€
Whatever the future holds for the Book band, there's no denying he will always be a big part of our story. π
Putting the right side of your brain to work in Nashville. π§
The library is open, and getting down to business with the first single from our second Book. ππ

10 Wackiest Prog Metal Albums Ever loudwire.com/wackiest-prog-mβ¦
Guess who made the list? You want wacky, you'll get wacky.
Thank you to @Loudwire for the inclusion, lists are kind of like tiny books and it's nice to see ourselves somewhere where we really belong. π
Have you been reading? We've been demo-ing new music, which counts for us. π
It's a new week, let's make the best of it together. Thank you for continuing to read.
Giants destroy! The Bookworms are home safe from volume 1 of "Short Stories," including our monster bassist Alyson in this clip from our last show in Cincinnati.
Definitely a contender for heaviest riff on "BOOK II." ππ

Halfway through Pride Month! Our first hometown show in years was a Pride festival on June 1. π³οΈβπ
It felt good to be up there as ourselves, singing songs about fighting the powers that seek to destroy you, as if simply existing is a sin punishable by death. Seemed appropriate. π
Louisville two weeks ago at the incredible art spot @PlanetoftheT
Also a shout-out to @3rdPowerAmps for joining us on "Short Stories" as the rig Max used every night. Their amps are tanks, the library has it on good authority that the big Flying V has never sounded bigger. π
7 years since our first Book was published. That's it that's the post! "Dr. Breacher" was certainly our test of "can we do this?" as ambitious nerds in our early 20s, in the form of three elaborate, winding progressive songs.
It's nice to know the library still means so much. π
We've been off tour for a week just in time for a very special Book to celebrate an anniversary!
A hint: the final chapter takes twenty minutes to digest... π
Hope you're having a good week so far and as always, thanks for reading. π
